Hayden-Harnett Talitha Clutch

While browsing through our Forum yesterday, it occurred to me that in all my time writing for PurseBlog, I have never written about a Hayden-Harnett bag. Obviously, that needs to be remedied immediately – why have I been overlooking a brand that has such a big following? Silly me!

So I looked through their website, and the Hayden-Harnett Talitha Clutch is easily my favorite of their current handbags.

I’m normally not a fan of dual-color bags, but the purple and black combination works very well with the geometric design that forms the outside of the clutch. You can see the small rivets that attach the black sections to the purple base, which I’m glad they included – it would have been just as easy to glue the pieces wrong, and the tiny bits of metal are a nice touch. The bag has texture without being fussy or fragile.

With so many frame clutches on the market, the advent of a box clutch that actually looks like it could hold all of my stuff is welcomed. It has structure to spare, but it doesn’t look like it sacrifices usability to achieve that goal. And as is often true with the bags we feature here, the price is one of the best parts. Buy through Hayden-Harnett for $148.
