Celebs Almost Exclusively Stick to Black Bags from Chanel, Givenchy, Valentino, Céline & More

Celebs are once again going back to the (luxury) basics, with solid black leather bags from Chanel (so much Chanel), Hermès and all of your favorite stalwart luxury brands. There’s nothing terribly trendy here; in fact, I don’t think there’s even anything that’s new for 2015, but there are plenty of reminders as to why the big-name brands are generally worth their salt. Ya know, just in case you were debating whether to buy some fly-by-night bag o’ the month or something a little pricier that will definitely still be in style in two years time.

Here’s Alessandra Ambrosio, leaving LAX with a black leather Birkin. Alessandra has several Birkins, as you might expect, and she’s been leaning on them pretty heavily as of late, though we did recently spot her carrying Givenchy to the gym.

Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson was recently spotted out and about with her BF in LA. She’s carrying an adorable little black leather Chanel Camera Bag.
