In Need of Nylon: 12 of the Best Picks for Sale Right Now

This is the summer of easy, breezy style and I think I finally want a nylon bag

Nylon has been making a serious comeback over the last couple of years. At first you may scoff at the idea of spending serious cash on a nylon bag, but now more than ever having a bag you can easily wipe clean is a serious priority.

While summer may look a bit different for many of us around the globe, personally, my style has already been more casual and dressed down than ever before. I tend to reach towards more relaxed outfits and silhouettes, often pairing sneakers with dresses or casual bodysuits with jeans, and lately I’ve noticed a need in my wardrobe for a more sporty purse. Hello nylon.

When done right, nylon bags can be just as stylish and sleek as their leather counterparts, and now there are more options than ever on the market. From belt bags to oversized totes and beyond, designers (both luxury and contemporary) are doing nylon a million different ways.

I’ve been scouring the web to find a nylon bag for my collection, and I’m currently in the process of deciding if I should invest in a big name designer pick, or go the contemporary route. Though truthfully I am leaning towards Prada as Prada nylon is a staple for the brand and they do it so well. Luckily, I found a slew of stylish picks at a variety of price points so we’ve got you covered if you’re in need of nylon as well.

I became vegan last year and as time has passed my love of leather handbags is very much wavering. But my love of luxury bags is not. So I am loving this post and any post that includes bags made of non-animal materials. These are all super cute and would be great to carry.

MZ Wallace has some really nice not-so-pricey nylon bags that are of high quality! Most are quilted, but I have bought the non-quilted ones and am very happy. They are great for traveling.

Lululemon has amazing nylon bags including the everywhere belt bag ( under 40 Canadian dollars!) which is super lightweight and hard wearing. Also fits a tonne despite size. The hands free wipe clean options are perfect for COVID season.

Happy to see my decade old nylon small Prada bag come back in style. Now if only I had somewhere to go.

I’m a big fan of Baggu, and their bags are extremely affordable especially on sale or with their welcome coupon. Most of their nylon bags can be machine washed as well!

Kipling, Liebeskind and Day Et make great nylon bags. I own several Kipling and Day Et bags and they offer great designs and awesome quality for 1/20 of the price of a Prada bag.
