I have never liked hobo bags because I felt that my stuff settled to the bottom like a trash bag. Some of these like the Proenza Schouler and The Chloe seem structured which appeals to me. When I think of a hobo, I think of slouchy.
The bv mini jodie is the best hobo bag because it’s small-ish but fits a TON. Just purchased another in kiwi green!

Well I use it just in my hand or kinda held under like you would the bv pouch. But this all depends on your lifestyle of course! I don’t have kids yet and I don’t always need my hands free for something you know?…

For a while during mid 2000s I mostly wore hobos. It’s easily the best bag shape for me. Since then I have branched out to other shapes but I go back to them when I need hands free (like traveling).
Has anyone seen the saint laurent in person? They have it in leopard print and I am OBSESSING over it but the chain strap confuses me. It seems like it would be really uncomfortable to carry.
