You know I’m on a complete athletes-and-their-bags editorial arc right now. For countless reasons, I love these features, but one of the main ones is how they break down the idea that bags are inherently “female.” Bags are for anyone who needs or wants them, for any reason. You don’t have to carry a bag if you don’t want to, but you absolutely can if you do. My goal is always to help people learn and then make choices that work for them, first and foremost.
One of the standout stars of our NFL coverage has been Saquon Barkley. As much as he shines on the field as a running back for the Philadelphia Eagles, his arrival outfits are in a league of their own. Actually, let me amend that: his outfits are top-notch, and his bag game is fully next-level.
No, really. There isn’t much more I need to say beyond these photos, because the picture tells the story. From casual looks where he pairs a graphic tee with bright neon denim to more suited-up moments, Barkley remains steadfast in his love for Hermès.
HAC Game Strong
His bag of choice is the Hermès HAC. The Hermès Haut à Courroies Bag dates back to the brand’s equestrian roots, originally designed for riders. Today, it makes for an excellent modern-day travel bag, with its trapezoidal shape and wide opening providing plenty of space for on-the-go needs.
As with other Hermès icons, the HAC is reimagined in a range of leathers, colors, and finishes that make it stand out. Saquon Barkley seems to have one of each.

Usually I love seeing men carry Birkins, but after seeing these photos it looks very burdensome, heavy and cumbersome.
None of these are Birkins.
It is supposed to be that – these are huge HACs!
