We know how much you love seeing the bags NFL players carry to games, but this week we’re pausing our regular football coverage to make way for America’s favorite pastime. The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays are currently battling it out in the World Series, including a historic 18-inning, nearly seven-hour Game 3.
As a big baseball family, we’ve been glued to the TV watching every inning, and both of my kids are completely into it. Vaughn is thrilled to see Vladdy Jr. (named after his dad—well, actually after Vladimir Guerrero Sr. and his own dad, Vlad), and both kids are big Ohtani fans. Sadly, Ohtani doesn’t have a bag sighting for us to share, which is a real bummer because I simply adore him. Luckily, plenty of other players are just as into bags as we are.
Louis Vuitton is a clear favorite among the players, with several Dodgers carrying the sleek P9 in blue. Freddie Freeman opted for a luxurious Bottega Veneta backpack, while others kept things simple with smaller, functional styles.
As a sports lover, I can’t help but appreciate the players’ coordinated team sweats for the World Series, as it speaks to my always-want-to-be-comfortable side. And as a bag lover, I say keep the bag arrivals coming, across every sport.

Ummmmm William Nylander is not in the MLB. He plays for the Toronto Maple Leafs (an NHL team (hockey)).
