Yesterday, the Championships wrapped up with an epic showdown between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. Sinner came out on top, with an exciting match to watch from start to finish (the women’s final the previous day between Iga Swiatek and Amanda Anisimova was dominated by Swiatek). The fashion world continues to turn to the sporting world as a way to find a large stage to integrate. Sinner is famous in the fashion world for his ongoing partnership with Gucci (the featured image is pictured with his custom Gucci tennis bag, courtesy of Gucci).
Fashion and Tennis: Why Wimbledon Is a Style Destination
I watch Wimbledon for the love of sports, showmanship, traditions (I am just as intrigued by going to the actual match as I am by having the famous strawberries and cream), and, of course, the bags. Wimbledon is often as much a show on the court as off the court. Many with the highly coveted center court ticket bring their best game as well, and that is, their style game.
The Royals Know How to Accessorize

Catherine, Princess of Wales, is the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club and attended both the women’s and men’s finals this year to a roaring ovation. Another reason she is so beloved is how she approaches her fans and crowds; her fashion sense is always spot on. In this case, her cream outfit against a very accessible Anya Hindmarch bag made for a relatable moment.
Celebrity Style Courtside: Bags Worth Watching
The bags and outfits varied. We saw many nods to strawberries, which is a defining Wimbledon staple. From strawberry bag charms dangling from a Birkin to Morgan Riddle’s playful strawberry charm shoes, attendees proved they love a theme.

Ralph Lauren’s VIP Suite Was Peak Quiet Luxury
Many other stars and influencers were in attendance, with some of the best-dressed being friends of the House of Ralph Lauren. Ralph Lauren had a decked-out suite, and each attendee came donning head-to-toe RL looks.
It took me to a place of quiet glamour because it didn’t just appear luxurious but also old-world ‘fancy’ in all the best ways. Plus, the Ralph Lauren bag game shows the brand is moving in the right direction as it expands its leather offerings.
Many guests carried the Ralph, which was introduced for the brand’s Spring 2025 show. The more times I see the bag, even if I know the celeb was dressed by the brand, the more I like it.
I am now off to manifest the RL suite life at Wimby. A girl (or a 41-year-old suburban mom) can dream.

What a wonderful showcase of style. Delightful to see Mulberry as well.
I love Aspinal bags – so very British
@Purseblog, beside Eliza Spencer is actually her twin sister, Amelia!
They look fabulous!
Love seeing Anya Hindmarch!
Max fan here, but George Russell is worthy of a shout out-even if he’s not carrying a bag!! 🏎️
