Over the past couple of weeks, there have been whispers that LVMH is interested in investing in Proenza Schouler and growing it into a global luxury brand, and although that’s yet to come to fruition, it looks like Proenza is headed in a decidedly luxe direction on its own. After last season’s strong showing of exotics, Proenza’s Spring 2015 bag lineup looks as though it will continue in that direction.
These designs, all of which are new shapes for the brand, aren’t as strong as last season’s, but they do represent a notable evolution in the brand’s accessories look. There’s no signature hardware or digital prints to be found; instead, a neutral palate of black, ivory and tan took over, with the bag’s natural changes generally dictating the placement of the colors. Check out the images below and let us know what you think.

boring
I actually like them. a lot
Maybe not as popping as last seasons, but I think they are all very wearable and pretty nice looking. I think they can go straight from the runway to the store and people would snatch them up.
Nothing compares with the original PS1 bag. These current designs are unimaginative and do not have the combined functionality and style that made the PS1 so compelling.
If lvmh gets its hands on proenza, who knows just when we’ll start seeing ps1s crossing the $2500 pricepount
Not a fan of these particular bags. Not one of them even seemed interesting. 🙁
no, no.
The designs are somewhat forgettable, agreed there. However the way the world economy is turning catering to the ever shrinking rich customer base is probably a very smart angle. As wealth in the world gets more concentrated the easiest way to make money would be to sell a few mega-bucks bags to these monstrously rich women as opposed to selling a gazillion cheaper bags to the rest of us.
Love them very nice & clean…
