Pre-order these Fall 2011 Proenza Schouler bags while you still can

Proenza Schouler Fall 2011 may have walked down the runway less than an hour ago, but Jack and Lorenzo have already made three of fall’s bags available for pre-order – a PS1 pouchette ($975), satchel ($1925) and weekender ($1585), all in black leather and a jacquard blanket print. The bags will ship by mid-October, which seems like an eternity, but it’ll be here before you know it.

I love these bags!! Anyone order one?

Kat

I don’t understand why these are so expensive. They’re made mostly of fabric. I don’t get why they cost more than an all-leather Alexa.

The only PS1 that I have ever liked is the purple sued that I saw Leighton Meester carry.
I don’t like this one at all. It looks like carpet.

I don’t like it, and the price tag makes it even worse.

Sorry, but these look like Juicy Couture designers snuck their patterns into PS and they ran with it. Not liking the pattern at all, even though the shapes are great.

Sorry, not really liking these. I have a PS1 and love it, but the leather is one of the major draws to the bag. They’re charging more than $400 for a bag that’s not made entirely out of leather? That doesn’t make much sense at all. If I were going to shell out $1925, I’d pay the addtl $75 and get the Large PS1. I think this is a perfect example of paying for the name, rather than the product

Love the handbags.

Nee

these are just plain ugly. Why in the world???? seriously, why??

Love Love Love the bag, but I won’t pay more for a mostly fabric bag. Hey – it’s not fair in these grim economic times people.
