This Classic Prada Tote Won’t Steer You Wrong

Two weeks ago, we saw the debut of the Prada Spring 2013 handbag collection, where Muiccia Prada put on a handbag showcase with lots of eccentrism. You name it, it was featured on her handbags: studs, fur, and flower prints just to name a few.

So after the Fashion Week hype and with a little time to digest all of the upcoming bold, vibrant and sometimes unconventional designs, sometimes it’s nice to look back at the classics. A classic is a classic for a reason; it holds a certain charm, charisma and a timeless appeal that will always be striking. For me, nothing beats a Prada classic like the Prada Saffiano Lux Tote Bag.

What’s not attractive about this saffiano leather tote? To be honest, I don’t see any faults. The rectangular structure and double handle top handle (one of my favorite features of any bag) give the bag that ageless and versatile quality. You have the option to hold it in your hand, on your arm, or your shoulder (with an optional shoulder strap, which is not pictured), and each of these different ways will give this bag a different look. The dark green color is one of those rare colors that can be worn from summer through winter and everything in between. The golden hardware with the dainty, iconic triangulate metal logo only compliments this vivid color. The inside is just as exquisite, featuring inside pockets, the logo lining, a zipper divider, and a magnetic button closure.

This safiano tote should be considered when wanting to build your handbag collection. It is more than an investment, that I will admit, but this Prada classic does not disappoint. Buy yours through Neiman Marcus for $1995.
