One of my absolutely favorite things is when a designer I already know and love starts designing handbags that I can get behind. It’s such an amazing feeling to see a great designer take on the accessory world and do well, and when it happens, I follow closely. The Rag & Bone aesthetic is right up my alley, with a downtown, cool-girl vibe for an everyday wearable line. The brand’s shoes have plenty of fans, and I think its handbags will as well.
The Rag & Bone Pilot Bag was inspired by Air Force helmet carriers, and the semi-structured design is quickly becoming a handbag favorite. Celebrities like Jessica Biel have been spotted carrying it, and I can see why. I dig the vibe of this casual-cool bag; the Italian leather body gives it a luxe feel while the long, adjustable shoulder strap provides an informal finish. The bag comes in two sizes, plus multiple colors and variations, but I love the yellow option.
Rag & Bone clothing is what caught my eye first, of course, and it’s easy to find an item from the range that works well with the brand’s Pilot bag. Floral prints aren’t a novel idea for spring, but this Rag & Bone Cambridge Varsity Jacket ups the ante with its canvas floral body and black leather sleeves. From spring into summer, this jacket is my ideal, and I’d love to add both items from this perfect pair to my wardrobe.

I have this jacket and it is terrific. So different, love Rag and Bone clothes and even their Newbury boots are pretty great. Not sure I would buy a bag though….I am truly a bag snob I guess.
