This past Friday, Bottega Veneta opened its second Maison in the heart of Beverly Hills at 320 North Rodeo Drive. Spanning two floors, this 4,828 sq ft store features bags, small leather goods, ready-to-wear, shoes, jewelry, fine jewelry, home accessories, luggage, eyewear and fragrance. The design and concept of the Maison was created by Tomas Maier, Bottega Veneta’s Creative Director, and it focuses on lightness while blending spaciousness with intimacy.
Perfectly suited for the new location, the store fits into the Rodeo Drive aesthetic, pairing Southern California architecture with early Mediterranean Revival. Plenty of light drenches the store to show off the wares, which includes a new bag, the Beverly 71/16.
To coincide with the store opening, the brand introduced the Bottega Veneta Beverly 71/16 Bag. The bag was pulled from the archives, and as the name suggests, ’71 refers to the year the design was first created, while ’16 refers to its year of reintroduction. The crocodile and cervo versions of the 71/16 are exclusive to the US market in the below colorways. The crocodile is available in Pacific and Peony and retails for $33,000, while the Vesuvio Cervo retails for $3,800 via Bottega Veneta, exlucisvely at the Beverly Hills Maison. For purchase and inquiries, contact the store at 310-858-6533.
If you love the Beverly, there are three colorways available online in Intrecciato Nappa leather: Pacific, Mist and Nero, which all retail for $3,550 via Bottega Veneta online.
Not so sure about the new style but the store is absolutely beautiful
I like the bag from what I see – Megs can you get one to review and show us?
Love the new bag. The Bottega sales staff in BH is super helpful and friendly. I look forward to visiting soon.
These bags are winners.
Hmmm, some interesting ideas in regard to the new bag and the way the strap is attached to the bag. I do like the saturated red color as well.
I need to see this bag in person. Just wondering: does the BV store in BH have the tower of BV perfume samples in glass bottles that are miniature copies of the full-size containers? The BV store nearest me has those and they always encourage customers to take a few with them. Perfect for travel and so much more elegant than perfume samples in those tiny plastic sprayers.
I was a BV lover for years, but nothing has wowed me for the last few years. I have moved on for now
I used to like BV, but of late none of their new bags wow me. I looked at a few Fall pieces online that looked gorgeous, I walked into the store asking specifically for the bags, but they were so awful looking and completely paled in comparison to runway photos. So so disappointing because I was waiting for them and looking to buy. But they were much wider and not as gorgeous. Sigh! Just not doing it for me.
I couldn’t be happier to have such great brand representation in BH. Beautiful storefront and about time.
