Introducing the Louis Vuitton Monogram Jungle Collection

Louis Vuitton's new Monogram Giant print just got an animalistic makeover

Earlier this year Louis Vuitton introduced an exaggerated version of its iconic Monogram print. Aptly named ‘Monogram Giant,’ the print was first introduced in a capsule collection for Summer 2019 in bold, bright colors. Soon after the Monogram Giant bags were also introduced in the brand’s classic brown color way. The Monogram Giant print continues to be a big push for Louis Vuitton as the massive print was just given an animalistic makeover for the brand’s latest capsule collection.

The just-released Louis Vuitton Monogram Jungle Collection features the magnified print in neutral tones with animal print detailing. Described as ‘ the most daring interpretation of the classic Louis Vuitton pattern yet’, the Monogram Jungle Collection is a fun iteration for the Louis Vuitton lover who is a little bit wild. The collection features a few styles, including the brand’s iconic Neverfull ($1,750), the new, but wildy popular, Onthego tote ($2,440), and the adorable NéoNoé ($2,080). Discover the full collection via Louis Vuitton.

It. Is. So. Ugly.

ultravisitor

Louis Vuitton makes such a wide array of products that they manage to make something for everyone.

Even the people who like trashy things.

Louch

Ouch. Not necessarily

Jodi

I bought that bag for 3000 sold it for 5000 not for the basic bitch

ultravisitor

Read carefully. I didn’t say everything they make is trashy. Hell, I have some Louis Vuitton goods. I said that they make a wide array of things in order to have something to appeal to everyone, including people who have trashy taste.

Like this jungle collection.

Louch

I stand by my original comment. Saying someone’s taste is “poor quality” (your exact words) is highly judgmental and unnecessary.

Marianne

Agreed, well stated! It’s hard to define one’s taste as “poor quality”, it’s a weird definition and explanation.

ultravisitor

Oh, no need for the “(your exact words)” business, dear.

I know what I said, and I meant it.

Abha Pathak

Blah Blah Blah. Look at me. I’m Mr. Know it all.
You’re as trashy as your comments.

ultravisitor

Yawn.

Basic girl said what?

Agreed, not necessarily! The one’s I own are classic icons.

Like this jungle collection.

Yep! I understood you the first time. While LV makes bags, etc. that may not appeal to me I don’t agree that they make “trashy things”. “Unappealing”, “bold”, “bright”, “busy” are words I would use, but “trashy” implies poor quality, which LV does not produce. Anyway, we can politely agree to disagree to prevent any further correspondence re: our differences in opinion. Have a pleasant day!

My canvas LV bag cracked in under a year, so I wouldn’t be so quick to agree that LV bags are made so well.

Regarding this jungle collection:

The design is poor quality.

The taste of the person who likes it is poor quality.

Hence, T R A S H Y.

Jodi

Just reading this now you’re accusing me of being trashy but I’m just a collector I double my profit from that bag is sold out so quick the whole collection sold out within not even a week ps And some call it trashy I’m just not your basic bitch sorry

I don’t even like animal prints in general but these weer kind of cool in a fun way! I’d prefer them without the buat Zebra print on the sides though, it just makes, what is already a lot, a little bit too much!

Your comment was so good that you said it twice, like New York, New York! 🙂 Seriously, I didn’t even notice the typos. I think a person’s eyes see errors, but the brain corrects them. Anyway, great point!

Rosa Lily

The tote is a bit much but the bucket bag, a definite like – a little goes a long way.

Cielet_Chanson

agree! the white/light shade one especially. although I wouldn’t drop 2k on a non-leather bag… pet peeve

AM

I love that it isn’t leather personally ; lv canvas is more durable than leather in my opinion. Most importantly I love that it is cruelty free

TKS

I don’t usually go for animal prints, but I love this collection!

miChiaroscuro

Stumbled upon this collection when I was on LV site a couple days ago…Love it!

SeeJay

I like the print!

Sharon Fields

They r Ugly and I don’t care who made the. Others may like them, but as 4 m3, they r Ugly, point blank.

Candee

I saw this unveiled in a youtube video. It was nice until it was turned 360 degrees and then the tote was too big to tolerate such a loud print. However, with that said I liked it in smaller doses and ordered the bandeau. (Side note: This reminded me of my granddaughter who put a whole bottle of pink sprinkles on one cookie…a little goes a long way).

Also, I feel that when LV puts out a new product they create artificial interest by having a “preorder list” then close it after their “quota” is met. Next, they post the item(s) on their website, but immediately it’s “unavailable online”. Then it becomes a scramble to find one in a store. When I called to order the bandeau the collection was on its “2nd run” and I would receive notification when they came in. Am I always late to the party and/or does LV create artificial interest to boost the sales of their new products. Maybe a little bit of both, IDK.

Cait

It’s so annoying – I’ve found you don’t need to buy into the hype (literally) as they always get more product in after the initial pre-order launch.

FashionableLena

I love it. Animal print is one of my favorite colors! Those bags are not my style, but I could go for an SLG. This is fun.

Yaz

I love the accessories in this collection. I wouldn’t buy a bag Bc it’s too much, but the wallets are super cute and I love the key chains and bag strap. I feel like the print is too much for an entire bag.

Yaz

And by too much I mean the print is just too much.

Ruby

It’s a cute idea. I think it’s just begging to be copied, though.

Jodi

It’s launched Monday day sold out by Wednesday!!!

Sparky

Beautiful!!!! Enjoy it!

Amy

I was told by my SA that this was the 2nd launch and it sold out, but they are expecting more. IDK, maybe every SA is saying something different. However, your bag looks gorgeous in the pix! Congrats!

SeeJay

Yep, I still like it. This line is for those who have a diverse collection of bags already and want to have some fun. I wouldn’t expect someone who is still growing their handbag collection to splurge on items like this which are trendy. I have over 20 LV pieces alone so this would be a nice change for me.

Aliza Zibkoff

Yay! More logomania for Logomaniacs! I think I’ll hold onto my money, thank you very much!

Antonia

I just prefer the good ole standard monogram Louis!! CLASSIC!!!

Timothy

Trash for ….well people that like them lol

Sparky

ooo! I like this!

Jenna

anyone know who makes the black/floral shirt in the last pic?
