10 Bags That Give You the Look for Less

Are you a budget shopper? Come on in, gang’s all here!

Back at the beginning of 2019 I rounded up some of my favorite looks for less for all of my fellow budget shoppers out there. As it turns out, I’m not alone in my love of finding a good bargain and achieving the premier look for less. I’m on a never ending quest for the most expensive looking pieces for the smallest dollar amount possible, which means I’m constantly browsing my favorite shops to keep on top of the designs from my favorite contemporary designers. They rarely disappoint, and I always feel like I’ve discovered a hidden treasure trove when I find a striking similarity between a high end bag that I’m lusting over and a bag with a price tag that leaves me feeling guilt free. There is something so satisfying about pulling the trigger on a purchase after I’ve found a cheaper alternative to a premier bag that I love but is out of my price point. While I do think some bags are just worth investing the extra money in, 9 out of 10 times there is a less expensive version of the bag that is similar to the style I want. Sometimes I end up loving it just as much, if not more.

I’ve rounded up another batch of my favorite looks for less. While I wish I could own every single bag on the list, I do have a few of the contemporary pieces sitting pretty in my cart.

I appreciated how these were similar styles or aspects, but definitely not blatant copies. Great post!

Coach saddle bag looks nicer than the Prada, imo.

Sparky

Coach saddle bag is nice. Good to see Ted Baker on the list.

Cat

A pretty accurate dupe list! Nice!

Now THIS is a post that is both informative/entertaining that also can generate revenue.

If anyone is thinking about the Coach backpack, the Coach outlet has similar backpacks at a lower price point. You can also shop the outlet online.

Ping

No, coach outlet bags are made for outlet, it cannot represents the real coach quality. I do not recommend buying from outlet, it’s different product!

handbagcrunch

Oh yeah, totally agree that the outlet quality is much less than the regular store, but this post is about “bags that give you the look for less” and coach outlet has many outlet backpacks with a similar look.

This is great!!!!

Mizantrop

This was a really great post!!!! I also was very impressed with the Coach bag. I am loving the top handles along with the shoulder strap, makes a bag so user friendly!!!

I think the post is a great idea! For me personally it’s not a fit. I used to spend $400 there $300 here to avoid spending serious cash on a dream bag, but honestly it turned out that in retrospect it was a waste of more money. In my closet I would always end up choosing the one amazing bag I have over the 5 dupes that are there. A few years back I decided that I’d rather have a small collection of 5 amazing bags then continue to shell out for Tory Burch, Michael Kors, Coach etc. When I can’t afford something that I dream off, then I’ll either choose used or I’ll wait and save. When I think of purchasing a bag now, I consider my favorite 3 bags at home and decide if in the day to day I would actually choose this potential bag over my favorites.

The coach saddle bag looks better than mulberry. It’s not noticeable from the pictures but coach saddle is lined with soft smooth leather, It’s a full leather bag. Almost all coach 1941 bags have leather lining.

I don’t know why, but I just can’t get behind Tory Burch as a brand. Also, that Salvatore Ferragamo Thalia Bag is a perfect example of why sometimes the price is completely justified. It’s stunning!

I am definitely adding that Coach saddle bag to my collection. They’ve done a great job of bringing the brand back with classic, cool pieces.

Why did you just spam my comment! I was editing it, to perfect it (as I always do!) I was just listing the bags I liked & why; & agreed with everyone else regarding Tory Birch & Michael Kor. Now my comment is totally gone! I don’t get it.

I don’t mind Tory Burch, although their bag quality is hit and miss, so it isn’t a brand that I would turn to. For me, I can’t get behind Michael Kors. It is very popular in my country, but something about the design and quality is a little off for me? I am really loving Coach at the moment. Whilst I am a Mulberry fan, I would have to say I prefer the Coach saddle bag over the Mulberry.

I’ve been watching the Coach saddle bag for several seasons now. I see they’ve added hardware/logo to the front. It looks nice, but I liked their plain front one better.

I’m happy they Coach is featured as often as it is on Purseblog.

I feel the same about Tory Burch, I think they make nice stuff, but something icky about wearing their logo, although not as bad as Michael Kors.
