In the past two years, if you’ve spotted me out and about (lol at the idea of anyone actually noticing), chances are I was carrying one of my Fauré Le Page Daily Battle Totes. I own two, and they’re my absolute go-tos.
Why I Reach for It Every Day
I load them up, toss them in the passenger seat, bring them to every baseball game and swim meet, and yes, they even ride along in my shopping cart. The name Daily Battle is perfect; these bags really do go to battle for me. I love that they’re tough, practical, and stylish all at once.

So when the brand reached out about the new Double Battle, I was thrilled. A bag I already love, upgraded to do even more? Count me in.
A Look at the Double Battle
If you know the Daily Battle, you already have a sense of the Double Battle. It’s familiar, the same family, with the same DNA, but it features some clever updates. I’ve shared my Daily Battle and Daily Battle Zip (the same bag, just with a zippered top closure), and the Double Battle adds new features that make it even more versatile.
This bag is “doubled up” in two main ways: 1) two sets of straps/handles instead of one, and 2) the interior snap hook lets the bag shift from horizontal to vertical styling, giving it a fresh look on the go.
Inside, we’re doubled up again: two interior pockets (one zip, one open) along the top for organization, plus a clip to attach another pouch or your keys. You know me… I’m all about the pouch, so that’s my go-to.
The Double Battle comes in three sizes: 27, 35, and 41. The larger sizes make the most sense for this design, and I’m carrying the 41 (the big mama!) in powder black.

If I could tweak one thing, it’d be making the shoulder straps removable. I love having the double top handles, and I switch to them often, but when a bag has dual carrying options, I like seeing one that can come off if I want it to.
Other than that? This bag is about to become my new go-to. I’ve fallen more in love with the brand with every use. And when I say I use these bags, I really mean it. No cracking, no peeling. Plus, I never see the exact same bag as part of the “sports mom uniform” when I carry mine (huge plus).

In my little corner of the bag world, I like to think there’s a quiet club of us all over the world, different brands, same smiles, hauling our things and feeling that tiny thrill when our bag just works.
The price for my version is $1,750 via Fauré Le Page.
3 New Design Elements
- Dual Carrying Options with Braided Handles: Hand-braided leather handles join longer shoulder straps, making this bag comfortable and versatile for any carrying style.
- Snap-Hook Fastening for Two Bag Orientations: The interior snap hook allows the bag to shift between horizontal and vertical orientations, providing a fresh way to style it.

- Interior Zippered Pocket: Beyond the flat pocket of the Daily Battle, the Double Battle adds a zippered pocket in two-tone leather for secure storage of smaller items.
