AnnaSophia Robb Carries a Fendi Baguette on the Set of “Carrie Diaries” – How Appropriate!

Here’s AnnaSophia Robb, in full Carrie Bradshaw costume on the set of The Carrie Diaries in New York, carrying a colorful Fendi 3D Enamel Studded Baguette. If you’re a stickler for historical accuracy, you’ll quickly realize the fallacy here. (More on that in a sec.) You can get the black version of this brand new Fendi Baguette (which is from Fendi’s Spring 2013 runway collection, by the way) for $2,690 at Neiman Marcus.

The Fendi Baguette is, of course, the bag that SJP made famous in Sex & The City. It was the original “It” bag, which means its heydey was in the early aughts. It certainly wasn’t in existence in the 1980s, when this S&TC prequel is supposedly set. It’s a nice little insider reference though, I suppose.
