My biggest complaint about street style photography has always been that there aren’t enough detail shots. Sure, it’s nice to see the overall picture, but so much is lost in the exclusion of the details – the grain of a piece of fine leather, the thousands of little crystals that make a piece of jewelry gleam, the subtle colors in printed silk. Also, the handbags – SHOW US THE HANDBAGS, PLEASE.
Luckily for us, PurseForum member Cari284, better known as Carin Olsson of Paris in Four Months, staked out Paris Fashion Week earlier this month to bring us all the best handbag style on the editors, stylists and buyers entering and exiting the biggest shows in the world. She was kind enough to share a bunch of her best bag photos with us, and now, we’d like to share them with you. Check out the gallery after the jump, and to see more of Carin’s work, visit her blog!
What stunning photos!
Thank you so much 🙂

Do you all have independent consultants?
Well, that depends on what you mean by “independent consultant.” Carin simply showed us the pictures and asked us if we’d like to run them, and naturally we jumped at the chance.
The woman in the 8th slide is wearing the most beautiful shoes.

I know Tara, I want to know too. Maybe in future features like this, PB could identify the bags, if possible?
VERY nice! I’d like to see more of this sort of thing on the Purse Blog.
Thank you so much!

Can we get a breakdown of the designers for each bag??? There are so many stunning designs but I don’t recognise them all.
Is there anyone specific you’re wondering about? 🙂
Best,
Carin
why did two people vote louch down? For saying she doesn’t recognize them all???? That is just being a snob because actually i want a breakdown though it will be time consuming for whoever does it…i recognize most like the obvious celines and ones with outright logos but the subtle stunners….
what is the bag at the top of page two? Beautiful. I see a lot of Celine.
It’s a bag from Chloé 🙂

Love the cream studded clutch, the faith clutch and the clutch on #7
Why not run a contest? The PB follower who can identify correctly the most bags in this feature wins a one-time guest spot on PB.
What is the bag on the top of page 11?
I actually don’t know, but I do know that it belongs to Anna dello Russo. Perhaps a Google search could help? 🙂
