Finally, someone saw fit to design a box clutch that will actually fit your keys, your phone and your wallet, all at the same time. That shouldn’t be revolutionary, but anyone who’s ever tried to stuff all of her necessities into a prissy little evening bag knows that sometimes it’s easy to understand why women used to stash things in their bras.
The Stella McCartney Fall 2011 runway show only included a couple of bags, but those that it did made me not miss leather or animal products one bit. The sharp-edged (literally) acrylic handbags looked like mod vanity cases, and they would provide a perfect counterpoint for a textured, glitzy cocktail dress, no strategic packing required.

I don’t know when I would ever carry one, but I think these are just the coolest little bags! They remind me of vintage cigar tins… 🙂
I think I’d be forever wiping off fingerprints
My wallet wouldn’t fit in one of those, and I use a medium sized, not a large. The round ones remind me of little hatboxes.
I don’t know!
No ma’am. These are cute as ipod cases or large cosmetics cases. That’s about it.
ick. not cute, and not practical!
They’re lovely – but, yes, fingerprints would be an issue, I’m sure.
They remind me of boxes that hold perfume or makeup sets.
Ha ha ha…kinda makes me want to grab my jewelry box and use it as a purse!
They look like jewelry boxes, but seem completely impractical to actually carry.
Love them! they look fresh, original, who cares if they are sort of impractical, they are beautiful and that’s what matters!
I actually like them a lot! There’s something about them that makes them structured and modern when paired with, say, a loose, flowing gown.
They look nice and interesting, but the blue and black one reminds me of a BCBG purse that came out a year or more ago. At the time, I thought it was nice but worried about finger prints, scratches and everything else that can happen to a party bag.
Still, very nice.
