It’s already March and Milan Fashion Week is already over, which are two things that are both true and yet somehow feel completely impossible. Years ago, I read that time feels like it speeds up as you get older, and kids, I gotta tell ya: it’s true. (Note on the definition of “kids” here: anyone younger than me, and I’m 31.)
Anyway, the topics at hand: Milan Fashion Week and, specifically, the bags therein. We’ve already covered collections from accessories heavyweights like Gucci, Prada, Bottega Veneta and Fendi in great detail, but now, before we move on to Paris, it’s time to look at the offerings of the city’s runways as a whole, including highlights from smaller and less bag-heavy brands. Check out over a dozen of our favorites below.

The Tod’s bag looks like the Gucci Lady Web…hmmm
yeah, maybe a little, but I’ve gotta tell you, if you’ve never owned a Tod’s bag, do yourself a favor and put Tod’s on your list. Besides being very pretty, Tod’s bag are some of the best leather and most comfortable bags I’ve ever carried.
Very interesting look @ Sara Battaglia … think i like it 😉
God that Dolce + Gabbana bag with the scribbles is terrible.
Agree, that one and the D&G girls club one. There’s nothing wrong with appealing to a younger audience or playful styles/prints, but the execution of the (scribble)type is terrible, as a graphic designer I can tell they did not work with a good designer/typographer on this, something I can’t comprehend coming from luxury brands.
I like the concept of it (LV Stephen Sprouse graffiti collab + Anya Hindmarch witticisms) but the execution looks cheap
They mailed that one in for sure.
The bag itself is cute, which is sad. They’re trying to appeal to a younger market and it’s just so bad.
I’ve been really loving Bottega Veneta recently. I think they’ve been coming up with items that are eye-catching and appealing to the modern generation, but still suitable for all ages (if you have the money hehe).
I love these bags, my least favorite is the Dolce & Gabbana, also the bamboo handles on the Gucci are not comfortable, otherwise these bags are great pics. If I had it like that, each one would be in my repertoire for every mood.
I love the scribbled D&G and the other D&G (but I am a big fan). Love the ostrich Prada too. Wish I knew prices. When will we start seeing these bags?
