Start Your Weekend the Right Way With These Gorgeously Detailed Lady Dior Bags

By now, you’ve likely all heard that Raf Simons has chosen to step down from his creative director spot at Dior, and while LVMH will undoubtedly find a talented and worthy replacement, I’ve been thinking a lot over the past week about how much I’ll miss the brand of cutting-edge femininity he brought to Dior’s hallowed iconography, and to the bags in particular.

Simons proved especially adept at looking forward and backward at the same time, and the bags the brand produced during his tenure were ladylike and lush, but never too sweet. The brand recently added photos of its Winter 2015 collection to its website, and we snatched a couple of the photos to give you an up-close view of just how beautiful they are. Fine details have a way of getting lost online, but these bags are well worth a closer look.

You can check out the full collection via Dior.

I love them all, especially the ombre lizard one, unique and stunning!

Lori

I wanted to like these, but I really don’t like any of them. The blossom is really pretty but a bit too busy. Full disclosure, I hate exotics of all kinds…so that may be weighing in on my point of new.

BabyDietrich

I will take the croc and the python and the lizard!!!

Jerri R

Loving how the charms are customized to each bag!

Sparky

Oh…my…god…Unbelievably stunning. Each one. I’m not a fan of crocodile (can’t afford it anyway) but I find Dior is the only brand that makes it beautiful.
And that purple lizard….What can I say? Mesmerizing.

yinks

oh woow!! Take my money!!!

Dior in Ginza said the floral print is Asia-only. Is this true?

Denise

The ombre lizard is absolutely stunning! The blossom print should have been on just the lower half of the bag.
