Clutches are always a big hit on the runway because they’re easy to add to an outfit without obscuring the clothes being presented, but for Fall 2011, handheld bags took an even more prominent spot in the season’s shows than is usually expected. In textures from velvet to python (and sometimes velvet and python on the same clutch) and sizes big enough to carry all your belongings or so small that a cell phone would be a tight squeeze, you better make sure that your handheld handbag game is in point this year. When clutches are too flat, they’ll bulge when i try to put my phone in them and then, it’s just not pretty. So the Bottega Venetta one is my favorite! I love the color and it just looks so luxurious
I want that Balenciaga clutch. Like, now. Although I would settle for the DvF, because that is an AMAZING color.
Even though it’s probably the least expensive of the group (prices haven’t surfaced yet), I think the DvF might be my favorite. The turquoise and black is just perfection.

Nowhere yet – these looks just debuted, they’ll be in stores toward the end of summer! Net-a-Porter or Saks are always good bets to find Burberry.

I love the Louis Vuitton Clutch just the right size for me. I need a clutch that can carry more than a lipstick, cellphone and keys this fits the bill.

It seems like I’m the only one who likes the Valextra. I love how simple it is and how they make the croc the star of the show. It has a Celine Box Bag vibe to it, too.

That color on the Victoria Beckham is calling my name. The Burberry is screaming it!
I was immediately drawn to the Burberry clutch. The colors are eye-catching and it has a design that just begs to be held. My second fave is the LV clutch.

OMG I want the Balenciage clutch! Normally I’m not into white accessories but this one is gorgeous!!! Most of these clutches I would buy (if I had the money). I find it interesting that the accessories industry is still thriving on animal based materials. Most of the fashion industry has moved to faux.
