the Dior C’est bag looks like the C medium
I’m sorry but I just can’t get behind these bags. The Medium 16 Bag is the best one out of the lot but the price tag is insane! The quilting on the medium C bag and Small C Charm Bag seems cheap and tacky, and the new C logo lock clasp is horrible. The Golden age of Philo has truly left the building.
Most of them just look so tacky and cheap! As expected, it’s Hedi. There are even worse designs showed in the threads on TPF. Sequins all over, and the oh so DONE splattered all over the bag grafitti-designs.
I guess the 16 is the only exception to this rule. I don’t like the design, it looks like a matrix-granny bag, but at least it looks well made. Well, except or the handle, it pulls the leather when you carry the bag.
I heard that sales isn’t going that great either. At the grand entrée they only sold 22 bags. Most to the asian market. The sales hasn’t taken off since. I wonder how long it will take before Hedi leaves this sinking ship. And most of all, I wonder who would hire him after this grand flopp?
I still can’t believe he accused the critics for being homophobics.

omg yes! This collection is so uninspiring, I really hate that C and worse still the Medusa looking emblem.
I don’t hate any of these bags, but I agree that none of them are particularly innovative.
The Triomphe is probably my favorite. I like that they are bringing back the old fashion Céline logo for the clasp.

Celine + quilting = hmmm. These bags are okay I guess for another brand, but not for Celine.
I love the colors, they are classic to Céline.
I like the Medium, I think the Triomph would grow on me… but the prices… yikes… I would invest in so many other bags before these. But I am sure these will be scooped up by many luxury shoppers where price is no object, especially the Medium.
Coming from someone who still basically daily carries a Nano luggage tote, I actually like these a lot. They are more simple, refined, and elegant. I don’t see any of them reaching cult status like the luggage totes, however they are all really beautiful, and I would buy several if my bank account allowed it.
I do like the first top handle styles and the ones with the vintage logo closure. The rest a meh.

Why do I feel like I am seeing copycat versions of Chanel, Hermès, Gucci, etc. Really? That’s the best they can do? That big C gold latch is off-putting & kind of cheap, & the reverse interlocking C’s are too Chanel like! Almost makes you think you’re looking at a bad copy of Chanel! Can they not do better than this?
I like the Triomphe bags! Not so keen on the others though.

Thanks but no thanks. The two C’s back to back sure do remind me of another brand! And it sort of looks like a door knocker on a hotel room door. The charm bag is the only one that really caught my attention because of the stitching which I like but it’s a lot like other camera style bags. And those price tags. C’mon. You’re taking a risk on putting out new handbags and you put up the prices. Surely you at least want to get people in the door? You have a lot to live up to with a predecessor like Filo, where her style of bags turned to gold dust.

Why do these look like cheap 45$ bags I could get at Aldo? Especially the charm bag. Way to destroy a brand. I hope they don’t discontinue any more of the previous collections, and then promptly get rid of these disasters.

i really do like the 16 bag, but it doenst feel iconic enough for me to spend $4500. With that money I have decided to buy a classic Chanel flap bag instead.
I dont wish ill on anyone, but I really hope Hedi Slimane’s reign at Celine does not last longer than 1 year.
The 16 is nice with clean lines, but I feel like the price is far too steep for such a simple design. All the logo bags feel stuffy and cheap, rather than the clean, sofisticated, modern designs that I know and love from the brand. Don’t hate them, but don’t want one either.
I just can’t. Ran out and picked up two more luggage nanos.
I wanted to like the 16, but at 1st glance the design seemed to resemble female genitalia. When I saw Lady Gaga carry it I thought that and couldn’t unsee it. That and the price made me realize I could never carry this bag.

This is not Celine. This is a rip off of many other high end brands. The great thing about Celine was that it was so unique and classy and understated. If I wanted a big gold front to the bag I would buy Gucci or other brands.

I had reserved a box bag Tan as I wanted a darker Color after I bought a white box. Then the SA showed me the small Celine 16 bag (I have a small frame, can’t carry off big bags!) and everything fit perfectly in the bag (a Long fat wallet, an iPhone X, your phone chargers, earphones, lipstick, lip balm, office tap card with lanyard, hand cream) and it closed perfectly, and the bag is light ! It’s sleek! I had this notion that it looks like a doctors case, but the fit is easier than a box and the compartments make it easy to organise! I carry the bag to work now , and I’m getting compliments! I love it! Go and check it out for yourselves!
