On a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Paris, Michael Rider took guests on a walk through Parc de Saint-Cloud, a vast park located on the outskirts of Paris. The setting made the perfect backdrop for the collection that was presented, which was designed with lightness and the distinct ease that comes with summer in mind.
Rider, who made his debut for Celine back in July, thought of this collection as a continuation of what was shown for Spring, and it felt like just that. Models seemed to pick up where the others left off, further defining what embodying the new Celine DNA means.
House codes are broken down and put back together to feel modern and fresh, and there are hints to Celine’s many eras throughout. Rider has done an incredible job at expertly fusing his vision and aesthetic with those who have come before him.
Effortless Tailoring Meets French Americana Charm
His clothes are meant to be lived in and worn, inspired by the memories made along the way. Rider’s knack for relaxed tailoring and expert layering offered a sort of chic French Americana vibe, tied together by scarves—so many scarves. The scarf is having a major moment, and while it feels right on trend, they are actually integral to Celine’s equestrian history.

You’ll also find an expansion of the Spring collection in this season’s bags. The iconic Triomphe remains as essential a motif as ever, fitted onto structured bags like the classic Triomphe and soft, relaxed bags alike.
If you’re craving newness, there are a few notable mentions. The first is a relaxed bucket bag fitted with an external C logo pouch that feels perfect for everyday wear. A more structured, ladylike oversized frame pouch was also shown many times throughout, in smooth leather, Triomphe logo canvas, and exotic croc.
