You guys, I almost forgot about Paris Fashion Week. Milan ended, and I thought to myself “Put a pin in it, no more pics of celebs standing outside of runway shows.” WRONG. Paris Fashion Week is happening right now, so we have one more week of precious Fashion Week street style pics, and then once again we’ll just be left alone with our thoughts to stare into the abyss forever. JK, we’ll just get all of our celeb pics from LA and NYC, per usual. Also, on a quasi-related note: The stylists at Younger know what they are doing.
Leven Rambin
Here’s actress Leven Ramblin, headed into BUILD Series to promote her new TV series Gone with a Chanel Boy Bag and a truly unusual celeb accessory–A BOOK.
Hilary Duff
Younger is filming once again, and we have a couple of on-set snaps for you this week. Hilary Duff carried this gorgeous exotic version of the Givenchy GV3 Bag in one scene.
Sutton Foster
And her costar Sutton Foster carried this new, white and tan Chloé Tess Bag in another. These two bags from Younger wardrobe department also just happen to be the hottest two new bags this week.
Camila Coelho
Here’s model Camila Coelho, arriving at her hotel in Paris for Paris Fashion Week with a Dior Book Tote.
Kate Moss
Kate Moss is already in Paris, of course, here she is pounding the pavement with a supple black Birkin with gold hardware. Place your bets on which shows she will sit front row at here.
Chrissy Teigen
Meanwhile, in Beverly Hills, Chrissy Teigen carried this Balenciaga Everyday Chain Bag to a lunch date.
Olivia Culpo
Olivia Culpo has already made the trek from Milan to Paris for PFW. Here she is heading into an event with a beautiful, black and white Valextra Iside Crossbody Bag.
Kimora Lee Simons
Finally, here’s Kimora Lee Simmons, making her rounds in LA with a taupe 30cm Birkin.
Kimora must have purchased that Birkin used-looks all misshapen and old
I think Kimora’s bag looks like she’s had it for a long time, it’s been shoved full of stuff and used a lot. Any leather will give in with time.
I just cringe, seeing the sloppy condition these stars keep their Birkin’s! I guess if they looked all thrashed, it conveys a warped sense of elitism – “My Birkin is nothing special, as I can always afford to buy another one whenever I please” mentality. Well, I guess it’s well loved.?
Or maybe they are just well-worn vs (sic) “thrashed”? Leather, no matter how well taken care of, will sag and get misshapen if used enough.
Also, just because someone is carrying a beat up bag, it doesn’t mean their flaunting the fact that they “can always afford to buy another one”. There are a ton of other reasons a wealthy person would carry a less-than-pristine bag. Maybe they just really love the bag, no matter what? Maybe it has sentimental value? Maybe they prefer things to look a little roughed up? Point is, maybe don’t jump to the most negative conclusions just because people treat their bags differently from you.
Good Grief.?? I’m sorry for even making my OBSERVATIONAL comment in the first place.
And anyway – PJGambler made the initial (& more appropriate) observation, saying –
“Kimora must have purchased that Birkin used-looks all misshapen and old”.
Then I remembered other similar photos I’ve seen lately, & wanted to voice my observation about it. I was being sarcastic, that’s all! Nothing personal! Do we really have to have the Thought Police here, too? Give it a rest, please!
(Now, if you’ll excuse me, I think I’ll go wash my mouth out with soap!)??
I would love to be able to afford the attitude “My Birkin is nothing special, as I can always afford to buy another one whenever I please” 🙂
Lol – no kidding! I guess I was raised to take good care of things, no matter how humble or grand. I really do wince when I see a thing of beauty abused, or dirty, or care-worn. No matter what your status or wealth, isn’t it a good thing to have a care, when it comes to one’s possessions? I’m not AT ALL suggesting we don’t use or wear our nice things, like they are museum pieces. I love wearing my diamonds with jeans, or even in my satin PJ’s. How can it shine, when hidden away in a jewelry box. If you have a nice handbag, by all means let it shine on your arm! It’s meant to be used & loved….but cared for, as well. Good grief….I never meant for my comment to cause such a ruckus. ? In the end, it’s your stuff, & you can do as you please with it. Amen & end of story.?
Darling, it’s Birkin. Not Birken.
Lol, so it is! ?Thanks for the correction. All fixed, now! ?
🙂
Kimora has a lot of luxury bags esp birkin and lv,she is collecting long time…simply because her bag was out of shame that not me she that not care for it…what if the bag is really old and she wear it a lot…why u dont have any bag that does not deform or out of shape…such a stupid comment…
First, I was not just referring to Kimora, but a host of other Celebs we’ve all viewed here on Purse Blog every week. And, second & most importantly, there are no stupid comments made here on Purse Blog. We all feel free to share, here – whatever crazy thought or question tickles our brain. No one is stupid, for making a comment, here! We are all gracious to one another. When you don’t like a comment made, just move on. Why the need to tell everyone that the comment you just read was a stupid comment?
Don’t worry about the commentators, it’s just noise. Just keep being your wonderful self!
Well forgive this people who are using well there bags and not placing on the altar!!!!
or maybe she just uses it alot???
I love it when they look worn-in like this.
I love the look where a bag is used as it was supposed to be used — to hold and carry stuff, sometimes banged up or crumpled because life. I don’t want to live a life where keeping my bag pristine is high on the priority list
We too. Shows they DO appreciate the bags and use them. For me, luxury products are meant to be used, not kept in the cupboard.
I know it’s going to look dated in a few years but damnit I want that Christian Dior Book Bag!
It already looks dated and tacky AF with the big giant CHRISTIAN DIOR on it… Do you really want to be a human billboard?
Maybe don’t rag on someone’s bag preferences to their “faces”? People are allowed to have different preferences from yours.
I am ssooooooooo sorry Katrina! Please forgive me. I forgot that you had the authority to tell me what to do and what not to do.
How different is what I did from you telling the OP that what she likes is “dated” and that buying what SHE LIKES will make her look like a “human billboard”? You could have said what you said in a nicer, politer way, but you chose to be harsh and rude to him/her and call her taste “tacky AF”. And now you’re annoyed that you’re being called out for it? Okay then.
Try to ignore this person. He/she is always baiting someone.
Hahaha. It’s ugly, it’s tacky, she would look like a billboard and someone had the balls to tell her. Deal with it, Karen.
Sounds amazing and not like a scam at all. Tell me more.
I totally agree!
ditto!
The Chanel Boy Bag is such a beauty. It’s going to really stand the test of time. I may have to add it to my wish list.
I have one and while it’s beautiful it’s stiff and a PAIN to open. Its one of the larger ones (the “new” medium) but fits very little. So mixed feelings on it.
Before investing so much on the real thing you might want to buy an inexpensive bag with the same style flap like Rebecca Minkoff’s “Love” crossbody for a test drive!
that’s not Camila Coelho but a blogger Tamara Kalinic https://www.instagram.com/tamara/?hl=en
Quite interesting
