Here’s Jennifer Garner, out and about in LA, carrying a Mansur Gavriel Small Tote in the camello/azzurro color combination, which pops quite nicely with her bright blue cardigan. Mansur Gavriel bags are currently sold out, but the next deliveries are expected to hit stores in July. In the meantime, the larger version of the tote is back-ordered at Bergdorf Goodman through December. You can bide your time by taking a gander at the rest of Jennifer Garner’s designer handbag collection in “The Many Bags of Jennifer Garner.”
Supply and demand issues are prone to arise when any up-and-coming brand experiences an explosion of sudden popularity. (Although scarcity has always been a vital component of the “it” bag algorithm.) We’ve talked to the fine folks at Mansur Gavriel, and they assure us that they’ve increased factory capacity for Fall 2014, so it might be a tad easier to come by one of their bags in the near future. You can see all of their exterior/interior color combo offerings here, and you can peruse Mansur Gavriel’s Fall 2014 styles as well.
Maybe if I actually held one of these bags IRL I would think differently…but now, what is the big deal? Anybody?
a close friend of mine has this exact bag but with a pink interior. the bag is beautiful, the leather is soft, it doesn’t have visible logos, its just simple, functional, and beautiful. I know she uses hers for work, travel, day to day use. it’s very versatile. Not bad for a bag at that price
I think they’re popular because they’re the only simple, good quality leather, luxurious-looking bags in that price range. If you had 500-600 dollars, your only options would be designers like Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs, etc… whose bags have a lot going on.
i know this a is a purse-related website but my god, she’s back into shape! lovely!
