Don’t be fooled by all these bright, colorful hues–we’re still in the middle of winter! But spring will come early this year, if you believe the predictions of large, fat, furry rodents. This year, I am very much choosing to believe the rodent, as January 2020 was a total slog, and I am glad we’ve finally made it to February. (I feel like I fought to get here. Anyone else?) Anyways, in BAG news, celebs are still trotting out the latest and greatest from Ferragamo, Saint Laurent, Burberry, Stalvey and Bottega Veneta. Did January seem as long and unforgiving to celebrities as it did to me? We’ll never know for sure.

Back in NYC, it’s certainly not midriff-baring weather: Emily Ratajowksi was seen out and about in New York carrying a truly primo croc Stalvey Top Handle Bag.
I do like a lot of what Bottega is putting out these days….BUT this Jodi bag is not it. The zipper is on the bottom. To get anything out you have to flip it upside down. All your contents are messed up. Its just not ideal.

I’m not impressed with the bags or shoes so I can’t comment on them. On the other hand, what constitutes a “celebrity” or “star”? The last picture showing Corrine Olympios? SHE is considered a ‘star”? I don’t think so. A “celebrity” is defined as “someone to be celebrated”, which she and the rest of them do not meet criteria. IMO the term “entertainer” is more appropriate since they entertain us with their acting or their antics, like Corrine. The word “celebrity” is too loosely defined and broadly overused. A “celebrity” is someone with a lifetime of work that is respected, who is then honored with a lifetime award, and then “celebrated” by many people, who appreciate their talent. A celebrity status is earned and should not be an entitlement again, IMO.
I like your thought process. It would give the purse blog more freedom to post more pictures if they did celebrities (tv, movie, sports personalities), Reality TV Stars, and Influencers as separate categories. I saw Corrine and was like yeah she was just at Craigs for a picture opportunity.
