No need for any story or anecdote or anything. This bag speaks for itself and for me, since I am in love with it. The Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Shoulder Bag with Grommets (whew, that is quite the mouthful) is a white woven leather shoulder bag with multi-sized gold grommets at top. Bottega Veneta has been quite the craze and this bag doesn’t leave any question in my mind that these bags are works of art. Actually, the shape of this bag is so alluring I seriously just am about to whine to Vlad how sad I am he left and how if he bought me this bag it would make me feel better. In all reality, sadly enough, that is partly true. A new handbag purchase is at least a 15 minute cure for any hard time. As I quit feeling sorry for myself, let me tell you more about this lush beauty! The bag has double leather shoulder straps which weave in and out of the side of the bag stemming from the base, a zip closure, an inside pocket, and it is lined in beige. Vlad, you can head on over to Net-A-Porter and buy it for $1690 for me.

This company was founded outside Vicenza, Italy. From that beginning, they have been using this fabulous intrecciato technique. They are handmade and can take up to two days to craft. They are truly wonderful bags and pieces of artwork. I would buy one if I had the money. 🙂
