We’re all familiar with the traditional places to buy beauty products: department stores, Sephora, your local drugstore. All of those places are troves of excellent finds, of course, but if you’re looking to investigate a new brand or go a little bit off the beaten path, they’re not always the best place to look. Somehow, though, Anthropologie totally is.
I was a big Anthro shopper in college, so I was vaguely aware that the brand carried an odd Tocca candle here and there, but I was surprised to find how much the store’s selection has expanded since then. Its site stocks cult favorite brands like RMS Beauty and Mason Pearson brushes, plus a ton of products from indie beauty companies both American and European. Even if for the photography alone, it’s worth a visit–everything is pictured in a thoughtful, beautiful way that makes all the products feel super luxe.
If you’re worried about returns, fret not–I checked Anthropologie’s policy, and pretty much anything can be returned if you’re dissatisfied. If it’s within a year, you don’t even need a receipt. With that in mind, I’ve picked ten awesome products below to get you started. Check them out and then head straight over to Anthropologie’s beauty section!
Anthropologie could sell me anything… I am a fool for their marketing and branding,
Me too
I like going in Anthropologie because the store is pretty. And, I watched a show that starred the buyer for the brand on his travels picking out things for the store. I wish that I could remember the name of the show.
The store is far from my style so I just browse. Guess that I’ll have to check out that lipstick.
I’ve seen the show too 🙂 It was called Man Shops Globe and the buyer’s name is Keith Johnson!
I love Anthropologie. I also love their sister stores, Urban Outfitters and Free People.
