10 years is a long time and while so much can change in that time period, it still feels like 2010 was not that long ago. However, when you take a look back at what celebs wore and carried back in the late 2000s and early 2010s, it’s apparent how much has changed. For starters, celebs loved to tote around big bags. At the time, big bags weren’t only practical, but they were in style too. There were seasons where the bigger the bag the better. Instagram didn’t exist and one could argue that the start of Instagram changed how people dress on a day to day basis. Without it fashion was more approachable as stars dressed themselves on a daily basis (without a stylist’s help), which meant the bags they carried were more functional for their day to day lives as well.
One thing that has remained consistent is celebs’ love for their Louis Vuitton Bags. For this throwback Thursday, we took a dive back in time to see which Louis Vuitton bags reigned supreme back in the days of The Hills and Hannah Montana. While it’s clear that some Louis Vuitton silhouettes will remain classics forever, it’s also fun to analyze the very many limited edition bags that stars were snapped carrying. From Stephen Sprouse and Richard Prince to Takashi Murakami and more, this post is chock full of the LVs of yesteryear. Want to see more of what bags celebs favored back in the day?
