Sweet mother of the work force! I think I’ve died and gone to heaven. I absolutely must get my hands on this Miu Miu bag. Ok, I am getting ahead of myself, so excuse me while I calm down for a quick second.

There, I’m better now.

Before I was a blogger, I was a part of the corporate world (well sort of). I remember living in DC, riding the metro (DC’s version of the subway) to work and noticing all of the bags both men and women carried to work. I didn’t have anything too fancy and never really went out of my way to find something fancy. However, I literally came to a complete stop when I came across this Miu Miu Deerskin Leather Tote – it is beyond fabulous. (more…)

Against perhaps my better judgment, I really like the Alexander Wang Jena Laser-Cut Leather Clutch. And I mean, I like, REALLY like it. The shape is a bit odd and I typically stay away from oddly shaped bags. Don’t ask me why, it’s just what I do. Yet, this clutch, this adorable, edgy and versatile clutch has captured my attention and I’ve not been able to get out of its hold since. (more…)

Every handbag lover out there has a different taste. While this means so many of us can be on complete opposite ends of the interest spectrum, it means that designers are pushed to create a plethora of designs for us. So, no matter what you like, we all win!

And as someone who spends more hours than most staring and evaluating handbags, I can appreciate the quality of a bag even if I would never be caught dead carrying it myself. However, there are times, when for the life of me, I cannot decide if I like a bag or not. This Versace bag fits that category perfectly. (more…)

There are two things that this bag reminds me of. First, it reminds me of that giant metallic silver Louis Vuitton Alma that Kim Kardashian wore to the beach awhile back. Yes, really. That’s the first thing that came to mind. Don’t judge, we’re bag people here! The second thing that this resembles is an incredibly useful L.L.Bean wash bag that my dear old dad uses, without fail, for every vacation to pack his toiletry essentials. (more…)

Honestly, I find myself forgetting about some handbag lines from time to time. DKNY is one of them. I guess I think of the “big brands” more often. But, I do promise I’ll try to do better. And if DKNY continues to churn out bags like this one, I would most likely be inclined to remember a bit easier.

Sure, there really isn’t anything *that* special going on with the DKNY Chain Double Flap Crossbody Bag, however, there is something about it that I really like. Come to think of it, it has been a while since I’ve found myself not really being able to put my finger on why I like a given bag so much. I welcome the challenge. (more…)

For the longest time I associated Chloé with shoulder bags. It took me a while to realize that Chloé also really knows how to make exquisite clutches. Maybe that was a bit close-minded of me. But hey, I’ve realized the error of my way and I now expect all sorts of fabulous bags from Chloé, not just what I was originally accustom to.

My opinion began to change when I saw Amanda’s review of the Chloé Leather Bow Clutch last fall and continued recently with Megs’ review of the Chloé Iris Strass Chrochet Clutch. So, I’ve been keeping my eye out for more amazing creations and have found yet another one I really enjoy. (more…)

Doth my eyes deceive me? Could this be, could this really be the most beautiful Judith Leiber creation yet? Yes, I do believe so.

When it comes to Judith Leiber, all handbag lovers know what to expect: exquisite, luxurious and head-turning pieces. While this is what I certainly expect, there is a good chance Judith outdid herself this time. I came across this bag a little while ago and have spent more than a bit of time drooling over it. Everything you’ve come to expect from a Judith Leiber creation is here – and then some. In fact, I am almost a bit concerned that the pictures we have can’t even do the bag the kind of true justice it deserves, but I’m sure going to try! (more…)

This could potentially be love at first sight. The Sara Berman Decca Midi Studded Shoulder Bag was welcomed with open arms by little ol’ me. The bag is classified a shoulder bag but also possesses so many hobo-like qualities, which of course, I love. But, it’s not just the shape, nor is it the color, in fact, it’s not any one thing that has me loving the bag. All in all, every single aspect comes together for a harmonious execution of a handbag. (more…)

I wish I wasn’t so scared of white handbags. Ok, well, I am not scared of them per say, but I am terrified about how quickly they can become dirty. Even a little more terrifying than a white handbag – a white clutch. With a white clutch, as you know, you have to carry it in your hand. This has me concerned. I am not some filthy person, but I am a little clumsy. I can see myself forgetting that I just finished reading the newspaper (yes, I still read real newspapers) reach for the white clutch and voila – filth. However, if I can get past my fear, this particular Jimmy Choo clutch would have to be mine. (more…)

We’ve seen so many incarnations of Diane Von Furstenberg’s Hayworth Clutch, and they’ve all incorporated great detailing: the CEO version has thick stitching over a light denim, and a black leather Hayworth has flowers and gold hardware.

This purple Diane von Furstenberg Hayworth Studded Leather Clutch is slightly less overt, but the simple gold studding meshes perfectly with the smooth violet leather. It’ll work equally well with a summer outfit as a spring outfit, adding a bit of glam to that crisp silk summer dress- or sexy evening gown. I’m thinking of it more as a bag for after dark, but as a daytime clutch? I personally find it almost impossible for any purple bag to be unsuited to daylight, so I find it to be quite all right, albeit a bit sophisticated. (more…)

Ummmm. This, my friends, is the very first time I have been completely confused with a Bottega Veneta Knot Clutch. I have to admit, I feel completely, 100% without a doubt, in love with knot clutches when they first and continued to appear. The design of these clutches wasn’t completely unique and in fact the designs themselves kept repeating one another over and over again. However, I appreciated every aspect each one had to give: the leather, the detailing, the simplicity, the eccentric-ness (is that even a word?). And then, and then I came across this version and I am not really sure. (more…)

This gloomy day just got a bit gloomier.

It’s really nasty here in South Florida today. While we don’t have snow or bitter cold, we have torrential rain that just doesn’t seem to want to let up today. I was hoping to come across a great bag to boost my mood, but instead, I came across a Christian Louboutin bag that I don’t really like. Now, you have to understand, that is saying a lot because I usually love all things and everything Louboutin. I want to like this bag. I am actually trying really hard to like this bag, but I just don’t think I can. (more…)
