The LXR & Co Shopping Experience (1)

When we met Kei Izawa from LXR & Co. in her Soho store at the end of April, I also took a tour of the store and walked through what the shopping experience is like. …

Hermes Kelly Doll Bag

I always learn new things on the PurseForum, and about 5 years ago, I remember seeing the ladies talk about the Hermes Kelly Doll Bag. They shared a photo of the bag, which is a …

Whats in my Hermes Kelly Beach Bag 1

Last week we welcomed the official start of summer, and nothing says summer quite like spending the day at the beach. I grew up by the beach, so I’m a true beach baby, and because …

With the holidays fast approaching, it is imperative we all begin to work on our holiday shopping lists. Consider me selfish, but the first person I think about is me when it comes to what …

I can’t call this bag a “look for less,” even though I guess some would easily deem it as that. I get a weird uncomfortable feeling when a bag as well-known as the Hermes Kelly …

The world of fashion is often synonymous with the world of the absurd. Don’t think I don’t realize that, I certainly do, but this world is a where art meets dreams. Hermes constantly wows us …

I love posting about the amazing sales, deals, and events that happen in New York City. Of course it’s great for me and all others who can make it to NYC with ease, but I know that so many of you are bummed about missing out because of where you live. Not only do I have amazing news for all handbag lovers, but this news is for handbag lovers EVERYWHERE.
Heritage Auctions, the largest collectibles auctioneer and third largest auction house in the world, has just announced the launch of Heritage Vintage, weekly online sales that consist of 15-20 vintage designer pieces – and get this – the prices start at $1 each.

These incredible weekly auctions will include at least one Hermes Birkin or Hermes Kelly in every auction. But if you aren’t in the market for Hermes, don’t despair. You’ll also find vintage Chanel, Gucci, and Balenciaga – all starting at $1. This is such an awesome opportunity, you could bid on and win a covetable designer accessory for an amazing price. This Halloween I am celebrating by dressing up as a lady who spas (meaning I’m putting on a much needed green mud mask and a soak for my hair while wearing a robe). The kids coming to our door may be a little confused as to what I am, but I think it works and I totally need some at-home spa treatments. And for their having to look at me, they will be rewarded handsomely with some of our favorite treats. From Crunchies to Smarties to M&M’s to Haribo Gummi candies, there is a treat for everyone that comes to our door.

My treat tonight is my Hermes Alligator Kelly Longue Wallet. Every year it is the best Halloween accessory a girl can ask for. And the lady who spas as a Halloween costume coincides well with a little piece of Hermes.

What are you dressed up as or who are you dressing up as what? Have a sweet, safe, and fun Halloween!

Ever wonder what a Hermes Kelly looks like before it is put together? I hadn’t given much thought to the question, but Jeroen van Rooijen clearly has; he deconstructed the …

Happy 235th Birthday America!! We are celebrating the 4th of July by eating anything red, white, and blue and spending time with friends. Also, I have spent most of the day watching solider homecoming videos which inevitably leads to never-ending tears of happiness (watch this video and tell me it doesn’t make you sob).

Both Amanda and I have turned nail polish obsessed and I have been looking forward to my 4th of July manicure for a few weeks now. Here is how I am wearing red, white, and blue today alongside my white Hermes Kelly Longue. How are you wearing America’s colors and spending your 4th?

We spent a day at RueLaLa last week to have a sneak peek of their upcoming and highly anticipated Hermes event. We were able to see all of the Hermes bags and accessories to share with you all before the sale on Tuesday.

One of the bags that caught my attention is this vintage Hermes 20cm Mini Kelly in grey ostrich. It was evident this bag had a story to tell. Without an exact marking, the bag is dated back to the 1960’s. It is said to be very rare and designed for a child to wear while her mother carried a larger Hermes Kelly (it will be part of the Tuesday sale).

We always say that handbags tell stories, but it is clear this one truly does. So take part in our Friday night story telling and tell the tale of the little girl that carried this mini Kelly. What did she look like, where was she from, what was her mom like? Paint the picture (and drool over the bag itself).

Remember to sign up for RueLaLa to shop the Hermes event on Tuesday!

Honestly, I am nothing but grateful that paparazzi do not follow me around and photograph me. Because I guarantee you that I look nothing like Victoria Beckham arriving at any airport, ever. I won’t lie, my attempt to travel in style across the ocean usually involves stretched-out-size-too-big-jeans, a nice sweater, and sneakers. And even if Victoria Beckham changes while on board into something more comfy, I still feel badly for her.

Here Victoria Beckham was spotted arriving in London at Heathrow airport over the weekend sporting her beautiful Hermes Tricolor Kelly. Victoria Beckham is a huge fan of the Hermes Kelly style, as we have seen her carrying many of the versions, including: Hermes Kelly Longue, Hermes Kelly Pochette, Hermes Kelly Lizard Pochette, Black Kelly, and a white Hermes Kelly with orange piping. And while many are not huge fans of VB, I really love her coat with this tricolor Kelly and her Louboutins.
