Oh, Kate Spade. There is one thing I know for sure about Kate Spade handbags; there really is something out there for just about everyone. Some bags are better for more of a mature age group while others can even be carried by teenagers, including those not on Gossip Girl. The other great thing about this wide spectrum of designs and patterns is that many of them cross over age groups. Just like this one. (more…)
If you are reading this and you are in the Northeast US you have just finished digging yourself out of x-number feet of snow. There is something I completely miss about snow storms like the one that just happened. I don’t miss digging my car out of the snow, but I do miss sitting inside and watching the snow fall and cover everything I can see. It is therapeutic, beautiful and serene. At the same time, I am reminded of the cozy mittens, scarves, boots and coats that I had to keep me warm. Coming across the UGG Australia Small Shearling/Leather Crossbody Bag brought back all of these memories. (more…)

Sigh. This bag was so close to getting everything right, but to me, there is one flaw that I can’t get over. It is so unfortunate though because this bag had all of the makings of a great handbag. Well, I need to let bygones, be bygones and move on. The Olivia Harris Leather Zip Pocket Mini Crossbody Bag is actually a really nice bag at a very reasonable price. (more…)
I love options and I especially love options when it comes to handbags. This is nothing new.
Of course there are some styles of handbags that don’t leave much room for options, but then there are others where there is just so much that can be done. Case in point, this Lucky Brand Abbey Road handbag. (more…)
I’ve been eying this bag for quite some time now. Initially I passed it by because nothing really jumped out and said “I need this” just as nothing jumped out and said “ewwww”.
Yet, each time I come across it, I find myself stopping and looking for a while. L.A.M.B. designs are usually blatantly recognizable, but this one isn’t and I think that is part of the reason I like it so much. (more…)
Those of you that follow PurseBlog regularly probably know my mini-messenger obsession. But surprisingly, that obsession was not the reason why I chose to write about this simple but glam Marc by Marc Jacobs Twisted Q Derby Bag. It’s because it reminded me of a LeSportSac mini crossbody bag that my grandmother gave to me. I thought it was ever-so cool, and I carried it until the cotton strap (that’s how long ago this was- no nylon straps) broke and I deemed the tan color uncool. (more…)
