I love expensive bags just as much as the next girl, but just because I talk about them often doesn’t mean they magically appear on my doorstep when I wake up. I might not be …
On the one hand, grey. I love grey. I think I write about how much I love grey in every third post. Especially this particular shade – it goes with everything, and is a much better (and more stylish) neutral than black or brown.
On the other hand, kind of odd handles. They look rigid like a tote, but they’re set wide like a hobo. And there’s two of them. I don’t like two-handle shoulder bags, because they always fall off. Maybe I have fat shoulders? Or maybe I’m normal and the bags are poorly designed.
Back on that first hand, the leather looks super soft. Soft leather makes up for a multitude of sins, and this bag’s looks particularly nice and squishy.
And on the second (lesser) hand, the design of the bag is kinda awkward. The zippers are placed unevenly, the bag is really square, and it doesn’t appear to have much of a slouch to it. Soft leather needs to slouch so that the people that see you know just how awesome your bag is.
And that first hand again – the price. At $358 (and that’s FULL PRICE, people, not sale price), as long as the leather is nice and the bag is functional, wouldn’t it be worth a look? I think so. It’s not perfect, but compared to the $14,500 crocodile bag I thought about writing about today, it seems like a very reasonable, attainable luxury. Buy through Saks for $358.
