The contemporary market is full of cute little crossbody bags, and for good reason – not only are they functional weekend pieces for the market’s young customers, but because of their diminutive sizes, they’re at the lower end of the brand’s price range, which helps entice new customers to check out the brand’s wares. The problem, though, is that not all designers are particularly creative when it comes to these pieces – there are a lot of zipper-topped rectangles out there right now. If you need a palate cleanser, check out the Rebecca Minkoff Craig Camera Bag.

This adorable little bag provides the same advantages of its more obvious counterparts – easy-to-carry size, room for your essentials, fun colors, affordable price point – without looking like everything else available right now, which is the biggest win of all. Another perk: that front pocket looks like it might be just the right size for a smart phone.

But can it fit a camera though?! Say, a DSLR?

nope not at all. i bought this bag for my canon eos m and that barely fits. i can literally just put my camera (with 22mm lens attached to it) and the 18-55mm lens. and the battery on the pocket. no room for the speedlite flash or anything else for that matter. but its super cute though. still considering on keeping it.

Nope. I bought one at the Shop Bop sale and it is TINY, so I had to return it. The front pocket is too small for any smart phone (I have a iPhone 4S). The side pockets are too small to hold anything practical – all they can manage is like 50 cents or a single key (no key chain). They are pretty much decorative only. So after you put your smart phone in the main compartment, and a lipgloss in the front pocket, you have to cram your (small) wallet in the main compartment, and maybe if you have a small keychain. It’s a disco bag, basically. Very cute, though.

awww … you burst my bubble … I need a crossbody badly ( love the little Chloe Marcie pouches or the Mulberrry flower ) but I really like this one. Holding an iPhone is a must however.

Sorry, I was really disappointed too. if only they had made the front pocket big enough for a smart phone, and the rest of the bag scaled larger to match.

I love this bag so much because I used to play with my Dad’s camera bag just like this in the eighties of course it was from the sixties. However, I wish it was a tad bigger because for almost two hundred dollars I want to be able to fit a little more into a bag beides what bubbled said. I just bought a mab mini in petal pink. I am so excited counting the moments for my happiness to arrive.

That type of structure with that price is astonishing. I love the look of this bag. it comes across as very unique.
