This is apropos of nothing, but I always think of this scene from The Devil Wears Prada whenever someone needles me for caring about the ‘meaningless’ fashion industry. I’d describe what happens, but some of you already know and those that don’t should really find out for yourselves. It’s worth the two minutes of your time, I promise. Also: Meryl Streep is kind of epic.

I loved this movie so much, I bought the dvd. Meryl Streep was incredible in it, and the clothes were amazing.

Eh. Obsessing over clothes is pretty shallow IMO

One good thing to know about this movie is that all the clothes from it were auctioned off for charity. So clothes obsession can sometimes help people !

I totally agree. My husband doesn’t understand the mountains of magazines, dozens of handbags, and even more shoes. However, he wants to help me start a blog on Houston Street Style. Go figure!
