Late last week Louis Vuitton presented its Men’s Spring Summer 2020 show in Paris. Menswear creative director Virgil Abloh is now a year into his reign at Louis Vuitton, and each new collection is more anticipated than the next. The bags in this collection paid homage to the light and airy nature of all that comes with spring and summer in Paris. There were pastel colors, floral accents, and of course plenty of monogram. Notable bags included Abloh’s super popular soft trunk bag in a white embossed fabric monogram, and a stunning Keepall with painted florals.

This collection is wildly different from Men’s collections of the past, with emphasis being on the new and unique versus leather options or Vuitton’s iconic Damier print. View all of the bags from the collection below.

Though some of the bags are a bit much for me, the majority are fantastic. I love #17. So pretty.

Virgil Abloh has taken the LV men’s line to the next level. So. Much. Eye. Candy.

Number 4 is my favorite. I also adore numbers 8, 13, 17, 21, and 36.

Men’s bags? How many men would carry #28? Unfortunately, in this political climate my first impression of # 37 was that of a suicide bomber, but with a kite? Not a good 1st impression. Anyway, #17 is lovely, but would any man carry it?

Kind of Bizarro! I MIGHT carry some of these but my husband would not be caught dead holding any of these.

This, IMO is totally bizarre. I really don’t know any man who would carry a “bag” that’s not shaped like a backpack or a briefcase. Definitely not anything purple or white or flowered. I wonder who is going to be purchasing these? I can see my husband falling off of the couch laughing at this if I showed it to him.

More interesting than the women’s bags (albeit some are a bit strange)

I am so incredibly disappointed with everything the luxury houses are doing as of late. They’re going on a really bad direction.
