Why don’t you follow SHEIN.com or zara. com?? This way you will be more comfortable with the prices. On this website the vast majority of products are luxury and not cheap.
Gia is not 100% wrong; I wouldn’t agree they can be made for $15, but her point is well taken. Typically, mark up is 50%. If we are to assume that Loewe produces jeans at $525 consumers are going to be charged $1,050.00. Now, presumably some will pay this price, but a prudent shopper will buy more fashion forward, sophisticated designer jeans, for far less than what Loewe charges. After all, without the Loewe logo at the knees, these jeans wouldn’t command this price. Also, they don’t even hint at “quiet luxury”, if that’s important to you. Instead, they SHOUT “Look at me, I am wearing ludicrously expensive jeans with obnoxious knee logos”. If that’s fashion, you can have it.
The profit margins are much, much higher than 50%. It’s at least x12 if not x20 according to an investigation by French journalists released a few years ago.
He’s not wrong about your annoying and predictable comment though. Why are you on a blog about the luxury industry? If you’re looking for $15 denim, go to Old Navy.
I will not deny that I am a big fan of Loewe but I only defend craftsmanship and well-done work, that’s why I am also a fan of Delvoux, Hermes, Vuitton, Pólene and some more.
Imagine paying 1k for a pair of jeans that costs $15 to make.

Why are you so aggressive?

Maybe Gia makes a good point and y’all are triggered.
Just a heads up that Dave is always protective of Loewe 🥺

Good to know, Dave. Some of us are fans of brands that don’t need constant defending.
Oh and honey, it’s Delvaux, not Delvoux.
Thank you for the clarification. I will try a little harder to defend this Belgian brand.
You don’t have to defend any brands. Brands are there to take as much money as possible from all of us. That’s all they care about.
I love the elephant bag 🥰
The placement of the large pockets on that denim jacket would be terribly unflattering on anyone who’s not a sample size.
