This southern belle’s style is serious fashion goals.
My love and admiration of Reese Witherspoon runs deep. I have been a major fan of Reese’s since she starred as the legendary Elle Woods in Legally Blonde when I was in middle school and have not so secretly idolized her ever since. Reese is a talented actress, producer, author, and entrepreneur…I’m a firm believer that there is nothing Reese can’t accomplish. She has starred and produced in some of my favorite movies and television shows and I’m an avid member of her book club (if you like to read and haven’t checked it out yet, you must look it up immediately!). Reese always looks stylish, put together, and sophisticated while still managing to be relatable, no easy feat for an A-list celebrity. If I could raid anyone’s closet, I would hands down choose Reese’s, no hesitation. She inspires me regularly, not just in fashion but in career and family life as well, she is such a well-rounded gem!
Confession: I’m constantly trying to replicate Reese’s personal style in nearly every outfit I wear. Reese tends to opt for bright colors and floral prints, and she has an epic collection of colorful designer bags and shoes; which makes her wardrobe extreme goals. She also tends to favor pink bags, which is my all-time favorite color, so that is an added bonus when trying to recreate her looks. I very much appreciate that her every day style is easy to emulate, especially since she launched her own fashion brand, Draper James, which she is regularly photographed wearing, making it easy to twin with my favorite celebrity. Of course it cannot go without mention that Reese has one of the best celebrity handbag collections in Hollywood, bringing incredible eye candy to purse lovers worldwide. Reese has a colossal range of designers in her bag collection, so there are many different price points, colors, and styles to catch a glimpse of.
I am super excited for the second season of Big Little Lies to premiere on HBO next month and decided to watch season one again by binging it a few weeks ago to refresh my memory in preparation for the new season. One thing that struck me about it is how Reese’s character, Madeline, dresses very similarly to the starlet’s real life personal style. There is truly outfit inspiration in every scene, which adds another layer of greatness to the show (also it’s just really, really good!). While Madeline may not be the most morally sound character Reese has ever portrayed, she definitely knows how to dress well, faults and all. I am seriously excited to see all of the fashion and drama unfold in season two. You know where you’ll be able to find me on Sunday nights this summer.
