My 2019 Christmas Wish List

Santa Claus is coming to town and I hope he brings something from my wish list with him!

It seems like just yesterday I was putting together my 2018 Christmas wish list, and now here we are again for the 2019 holiday season. This year has been one of the fastest of my life, and I am so excited that we are already in the holiday season (although am also shocked by how quickly we got here—where did you go, 2019?). I think the holiday spirit has been infused in my house earlier than ever before this year, I’ve been watching Hallmark holiday movies since November 1st. Seriously, I’ve watched about 30 of them so far…anyone else?

Like many, I consider the holiday season to be the best time of the year. It’s funny, I usually have a running list of Christmas gifts I am hoping to receive (which I’ve listed out below), but this year I am just thankful for my wonderful family, friends, and health. If Santa were to bring anything from my list below, that would be the icing on the cake!

Saint Laurent Medium Niki Croc-Embossed Leather Shoulder Bag ($2,490)

I’m a big fan of the Niki bag from Saint Laurent, but I am particularly drawn to the croc-embossed version. I have been dreaming about this bag for weeks, so much so that I think it might be my next purchase if it doesn’t appear under the tree this year. This bag has a cool-girl, rocker vibe that I am not sure I can pull off, but I am determined to try. I especially love the leather-covered hardware of this bag, it is a unique design element that you don’t see very often. Saint Laurent is known for its statement hardware and this bag certainly delivers.

Fendi Baguette ($2,690)

To say I was ecstatic when Fendi reintroduced the Baguette earlier this year is an understatement. As a fan of one of the most iconic it-bags of all time and as an avid Sex and the City lover, this bag has always had a special place in my heart despite never having owned one. I love what Fendi has done to update the classic design and I have my mind set on owning one of the updated versions of the Baguette. I adore the embossed logo leather detail and the hand and crossbody straps. This bag has been at the top of my wish list all year and I can only dream to find one under the tree this year!

Mulberry Mini Seaton Tote ($1,295)

This Mulberry Mini Seaton bag highlights my obsession with croc-embossed leather. I’ve been loving the look of croc-embossed this year, and Mulberry is doing it right. I am particularly drawn to this green shade because it would match a lot of the clothes in my wardrobe. It’s bright enough to make a statement but muted enough to wear regularly, which is a hard balance to strike but this bag manages it. My Mulberry Bayswater is one of my favorite bags in my collection and I’ve been itching to add another bag from the brand to my collection. Maybe this Seaton will show up under my tree this year!

Tom Ford Santal Blush Eau de Parfum ($240)

I have posted before about my addiction to perfume before, but I must sheepishly admit I don’t have a single Tom Ford fragrance in my collection. I have heard wonderful things about the scent Santal Blush from the brand, and after reading up on reviews it looks like it has amazing staying power (a must for any perfume I buy that costs over $50!). I first heard about this fragrance because Taylor Swift is rumored to wear it and I’ve wanted it in my collection ever since. I think it’s time I fill my Tom Ford perfume void and it makes the perfect gift to ask for this year.

Chanel Large Boy Chanel Handbag ($5,500)

The chances of me finding a Chanel under the tree are slim to none, but since this is a wish list, I must include it. Owning a Chanel Boy bag is a newer obsession of mine. I have always admired Chanel and their classic and coveted designs, but they always felt out of reach to me. As I get older and am making more strategic decisions in my handbag selections, the Boy bag is creeping farther and farther to the top of my Holy Grail list. Unfortunately, Chanel is also creeping their prices higher and higher, so with that in mind, this bag may remain a wish list item for a long time.

Saint Laurent Loulou Medium Calf Flap-Top Shoulder Bag ($2,150)

A second Saint Laurent bag has made its way onto my holiday wish list and that is no coincidence. I’ve found myself loving all things Saint Laurent lately and have been actively thinking about adding another bag from the brand to my collection. I am a sucker for quilted leather and love the V flap of the Loulou bag. I almost picked this bag up over the summer but ultimately went with the Saint Laurent Envelope bag instead. I love my Envelope bag, but I haven’t been able to get the Loulou off my mind. I think this bag will be making its way into my life one way or another, but it sure would be fun to unwrap this Christmas.

Louis Vuitton Monogram Shawl ($590)

I own a Louis Vuitton monogram shawl in hot pink and it’s one of my favorite items in my wardrobe. My husband actually gave it to me for Christmas three years ago and it’s become one of my favorite gifts of all time (and I was so surprised!). My shawl is so soft, cozy, and luxe feeling. Pink is my favorite color and I love the shade of my shawl, but it doesn’t match as many outfits in my closet as I would like. I really want a second LV shawl in the “natural” hue, it would match pretty much anything I wear.

Chloe Aby Medium Day Shoulder Bag ($2,390)

When Chloe released the Aby bag, I was instantly smitten. The giant padlock is reminiscent of the iconic Paddington bag from yesteryear, and I am undeniably on board with the nostalgia trend. As someone who has been unable to successfully transition to the mini-bag trend, I find the large size of the Aby bag particularly appealing. I’ve tried the Aby on in stores and was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight this bag is despite the giant lock detail. I would love if Santa brought me this bag this year.

Prada Small Matinee Top-Handle Tote ($2,490)

One of Prada’s newer designs, it’s hard to believe how fast the Matinee skyrocketed to the top of my wish list. The Matinee would make the ideal everyday bag, and I love the clean lines and sleek aesthetic of this bag. I’m a fan of the interior pocket design for extra security and the fact that the Matinee has a second crossbody strap in addition to the sturdy handle. Prada is known for its superior saffiano leathers and the design of this bag mixed with the saffiano leather has this bag cemented as a “must-have” status for me.

Gucci Queen Margaret Small GG Top Handle Bag ($2,980)

I’ve been gravitating toward simplistic designs lately and this Gucci is anything but simple, but I am obsessed with this style nonetheless. The ornate detail of the bumblebee clasp is eye-catching and I consider this to be a timeless Gucci piece. I find the contrast of the white leather against the monogram to be a stunning year-round design, which is a big bonus when I’m investing in a premier designer bag. Overall, this bag has a lot going on it, but it works astonishingly well for me. I would love to have this beautiful and unique Gucci piece in my handbag collection.

What’s on your holiday wish list this season? I’d love to know!
