Not only is next week Christmas, but it’s also my 30th birthday. (Yes, unfortunately, my birthday is Christmas Eve.) I’ve been non-stop shopping both for my loved ones and for PurseBlog’s gift guides for the past month, and in that time, I’ve noticed a couple things that I wouldn’t mind receiving for either of next week’s gift-giving occasions.
Check out my personal picks below. I wear just as much black as this makes it seem like I do.
Acne Oversized Shearling Biker Jacket
$2,800 via Net-a-Porter
No one has ever looked as cool as Paris Vogue‘s digital editor did wearing this jacket in a photo I once saw, and it has been my white whale ever since.
Dior Black Technologic Sunglasses
$535 via SSENSE
I can’t actually have these because I wear prescription sunglasses, but this is a safe space for impracticality.
Dr. Martens Flora Chelsea Boots
$140 via SSENSE
I came upon these boots a couple days ago while looking for good gifts for Givenchy lovers, and I’ve been thinking about them ever since. Not only are they perfect, wear-anywhere Chelsea boots, but the price is the best you’ll find for a pair this expensive-looking.
Elder Statesman Cashmere Beanie
$250 via Net-a-Porter
I cannot conceptualize of a universe in which I’d pay this much for a beanie, but I’d definitely let someone else buy one for me. (Dark colors only, please; my hair is purple and the color bleeds on lighter shades.)
Givenchy Micro Nightingale Bag
$1,790 via Neiman Marcus
For someone who likes handbags, streetwear and the color black as much as I do, it’s crazy that I don’t already have a Givenchy bag.
Herbivore Bright Pineapple Enzyme + Gemstone Instant Glow Mask
$48 via Sephora
I want this mask 75% because it’s supposed to work really well and 25% because the packaging is so simple and beautiful.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit
$80 via Net-a-Porter
I’m a bit obsessed with highlighting and glow-enhancing products, and this palette is hard to resist.
Nike Roshe One DMB Sneakers
$175 via Nike
I wear a pair of all-black Roshes almost every day; they’re incredibly comfortable and versatile. The raised python detailing on this version is so cool.
Perricone MD Blue Plasma Cleansing Treatment
$45 via Sephora
My tried a bit of this stuff from my mom’s supply the last time I visited home and really loved it. I love the idea of washing my face without splashing excess water in my hair.
Proenza Schouler Stripe Bucket Bag
$1,425 via Proenza Schouler
I think everyone has a bag brand who they feel like really gets them, and for me that’s Proenza.
