This is such a manufactured event. I can’t believe people are getting influenced by such marketing crap.
Declaring a color to be the new “it” color is no different than declaring anything else “in” or “out” whether it’s wide leg jeans or hobo bags or fringe. And most people who enjoy fashion are influenced in some way by the marketing of new styles and colors.

I recently bought the red violet Valentino Locò in the larger size. It is so beautiful and the darker pink is surprisingly versatile and season-less.
