Today we’re chatting with Loyal reader and tPF member Stephanie, @steffysstyle, who caught our attention on Instagram with her seriously stunning collection of classic Chanel bags. Stephanie is a self-proclaimed Chanel addict based in Switzerland. While all of us here at PurseBlog simply cannot get over her enviable collection of bags, her love for stylish shoes has us swooning, too! Read on to learn more about lovely Stephanie.
PurseBlog: Why do you love handbags?
Stephanie: Handbags are my guilty pleasure! I love how the right handbag can completely change a look. My clothing pieces are usually simple and understated, but when paired with the right handbag, my outfits look more polished and put together.
PB: What are 5 items you always have in your bag?
S: I don’t carry much, so there are only three items that I always have in my handbag: a cardholder, a key pouch and my mobile phone.
PB: What was your first designer bag and how old were you when you got it? Why did you want that bag?
S: My first designer handbag was a Louis Vuitton Speedy 25 in Damier Azur purchased when I was 22 and on my first trip to Paris. I wanted a classic city bag that I could use in summer and that would last me for many years to come without looking dated. I still have it in my collection, it has a gorgeous honey patina and the canvas is in pristine condition.
PB: If you had to carry one bag for the rest of your life, what would it be?
S: It would have to be my most-used bag, which is my black Chanel square mini in caviar leather. I love that it fits my essentials and transitions perfectly from day to night.
PB: What is the next bag you plan to get and why?
S: I am patiently waiting for the Chanel fall collection to be released here in Switzerland. I would love to get a rectangle mini in burgundy or a true red to add more vibrancy to my fall and winter wardrobe, which mainly consists of black and grey.
PB: Is the inside of your bag typically neat and tidy or a mess?
S: I’m a typical Virgo, my bag is always neat and tidy 🙂
