The entire Kardashian family loves Hermès bags just about as much as any other celebrities I can think of. While Kim loves her Birkins as much as the next Kardashian, Kris, the matriarch of the family constantly carries Hermès bags; recently we did the math to see how much Kris Jenner’s Hermès collection is worth (hint: over $500,000). With that in mind, it’s fitting that Kris was the member of the clan to have an entire closet built out just for her Hermès collection, and we some of the photos of her new handbag heaven.

Earlier this month Kylie Jenner, queen of Snapchat, took to her account to share a look at Kris’s Kloset. (I couldn’t resist.) Inside the perfectly clean, sleek white closet were many of the bags we’ve seen Kris carry over over the years, in addition to some never-before-seen pieces. Each large shelf has Hermès bags perfectly coupled and placed. There are plenty of Birkins, along with other sought-after bags like the Hermès Kelly and various clutches from the brand.

The focal point of the walk-in closet is neon sign that reads “Need Money For Birkin” from Los Angeles artist Beau Dunn. This slogan is a joke among handbag lovers and has been for some time; “need money for handbags” (or some specific bag) has been spotted on profile pages of our PurseForum members for years. The artist knows this sign may cause quite the reaction; it’s part of her “Next Generation” collection, that swaps out everyday survival items like food, water and shelter for luxurious alternatives like Birkins, Botox and breast implants.

Photos of the closet show Beau Dunn posing with her piece. There are also peeks Kylie Jenner shares on her Snapchat, which helps put perspective on all of Kris’s Hermès bags in one place. As for the bags, it’s extensive. There are classic black Birkins along with plenty of exotics. I’m just hoping someday Kris will let us into her closet to take photos–she’s a bag lover like us, after all. It’s all so over the top, but we already knew how much Kris Jenner loves handbags, so it’s really not that surprising.

Wow. That’s a big room for just one brand/style! She’s got some serious fashion.

Also, they are friends with Michael Coste who works for Hermes in France. Hermes does not “gift” bags but let’s be real, I am sure that family has gotten gifts and more important access to bags which is what most people could only dream for.

although extensive, I don’t find it impressive. It’s a testament that she is all about the flash- a true handbag collector, even if focused on one brand- would have other items besides the usual Birkins and Kellys. If it included other pieces that are not as popular or mainstream, maybe then I can believe her true love for the craftsmanship and not just the image.

You don’t find the logo embossed Evelyne to be flashy? Certainly you could understand why the Victoria is a bag for senior citizens and how the Constance may be too edgy & tiny for Kris? The Toolbox & Lindy could certainly be undesirable to some (including myself). The only thing more timeless than a Birkin or Kelly is people hating on the most famous family in the world. Get a life.

Oh boy, a crazy fanatic. For the record, I actually like Khloe and Kourtney. However, this blog is a tool to express and share a universal love for handbags- not a site for fanfaring all that celebrity. My opinions are subjective responses to the posts on hand so relax, take a deep breath, and perhaps get your life. Defend your celebrity idols somewhere else- this is the wrong avenue.

You have a near sighted opinion that if someone doesn’t own more than a birkin or kelly they’re not a true appreciator of hermes, handbags or craftsmanship…….. You used this post to do something more ubiquitous than Michael Kors handbags: trash the Kardashians. yaaaaaawwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnn. It’s a condescending post and i’m calling you out for being a simp.

i beg differ. personally, she can be a collector and lover of the birkin and kelly and that’s okay. Almost all of the other bags that Hermes has to offer are ugly.

How could anyone call Constance ugly? Or Bolide?

Certainly, that’s a matter of personal taste. But I very much doubt she would collect Birkin and Kelly bags if they weren’t the most expensive signifiers. After all, the Bolide is decades older with more history than a celebrity association, i.e. Jane Birkin and Grace Kelly. But it’s a much quieter statement.

Of course it’s okay. However, even the color choices lack variety.

Indeed, she does not even seem to have real taste. The collection is boring and tacky. Nothing creative whereas Hermes offers a large variety of colours and leathers and she has the money to buy it.
It is sad, though. I can not look at the Birkin without having the Kardashian flashing into my mind.

Jamie Chua’s bag collection makes kris jenner’s collection laughably paltry.

To be fair there aren’t many people’s collections who could rival Jamie Chua’s!

I should be impressed, but I’m honestly not. Not that the bag’s aren’t individually gorgeous (because they are), but as a collection, it’s lacking — mainly because there’s basically only like three colors throughout the collection. Why does one need 4 black birkins (2 croc, 2 regular leather)? If you want birkins, sure, more power to you — but at least become creative. Just my two cents.

Kardashians are easy target, but honestly, I think this collection is the tackiest.

It is a bag of status, it’s all about “I’ve earned it”. Same as cars for men, handbags are always used as a tool to say what you can have

Agree. It’s also a bag with a much higher resale value so Kris’ collection is a major investment. I have a cousin who bought her first Chanel bag over 10 years ago and last year on a trip to Dubai was approached by a woman who claimed to be an avid collector and was willing to pay triple the value.

I agree. I just can’t get into the whole K clan (don’t see the appeal at all) and the Birkin now leaves me cold. If I wanted to buy a hugely expense open top bag that doesn’t come with a shoulder strap, I’ll go under the radar and get a Loro Piana Bellevue bag instead. https://www.loropiana.com/en/eshop/ladies-bags-bellevue-media-bellevue-bag-media-crocodile/p-FAD6523

If this is just the Hermes closet, I can just imagine the actual other designers purse closet. Kris’ wardrobe is rather monochromatic so it sort of explains the repetitive colors in different bag sizes.
