While the military trend has mostly seemed to stick with solid colors, Be & D and some other brands are bringing in camouflage print. And to be honest, I kind of sort of totally adore it.

Camo-print has such a negative connotation to so many people, believing it is overly masculine and as far from fashion forward as possible. But this is not the case. Camo can be cool, it just has to be done properly. Be & D does that with their Barclay Tote.

Be & D is known for their rocker-like studs. And the Barclay tote has the studded accents one comes to expect from Be & D, but only at the front sides and back sides of the bag. The center panel features the camo print while the sides feature military green pebbled leather.

I know some of you may think this bag is too down and dirty, but paired with a crisp white shirt and khaki pants or jeans, it would add an unexpectedly chic military touch. Buy through ShopBop for $1290.

Maaybe, but I think I would still prefer this in an all-over olive rather than a camo print

Hi bloggers! You guys need to report on the biggest handbag story of the week. Paris Hilton’s Vegas purse where they found the baggie of the white stuff. What kind of bag was that idiot carrying. LOVE that she claimed at first that the handbag was not hers!!! Wanker!

As far as I am concerned, with leopard and camouflage it is better to choose something small, like a belt, a watch bracelet, an echarpe…A “whole” bag seems excessive. I had one and gave it away almost immediately to my sister-in-law , which wears it daily, and it looks great on her…

I kind of like it! This surprises me because I have a serious aversion to camo, guns, etc. But this bag is somehow different. That said, if I were going to buy one, I would prefer all black or, as another poster said, all over olive green. I think the novelty of the camo print would wear off pretty quickly and then you’d be stuck with a $1300 shopping bag.

Megs, I absolutely love this bag!! I like the subtleness of the camo print. I am a huge fan of camouflage and thrilled to see more of it on the runway and in fall collections.

I am not a fan. I like the Michael Kors versions better. The studs are too much.

I don’t think that the trends need to be taken in small doses. Of course, I am biased because I have been wearing animal print (leopard, zebra, giraffe) for years. However one chooses to wear such a bold trend depends on the person. Some are bold enough to walk around with a statement peace. Some are not.

I agree 100% with you!You need to be always comfortable in your own skin …I guess I am the shy type, nevertheless , I´m deeply in love with a pair of kitten leopard shoes

i love it, which is weird because for the most part I don’t like camouflage print. I think the designers just incorporated the print into the bag very tastefully.

i so understand that it’s trying to create the army plus rocker chic look, but somehow both element don’t combine nicely in this bag..
so, maybe should just stick to one concept.. it’s either having just the camo prints.. or the studs on plain leather..
which i think i will soooo be digging the camo prints! (ipad)

I’m not a huge fan of the camo but I own 2 of this style bag one in grey & one in black & I LOVE them!!! A long strap can be used and the bag can fold in half like a messenger.
