Yesterday Nordstrom’s site crashed, so they’re trying to make it up to you
If you anxiously awaited the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale like we did, plotted what you would buy based on the catalog and secret intel, and stayed up late or woke up early to shop, you may have been disappointed when you realized that for hours yesterday, Nordstrom.com was down and you couldn’t check out. Though the item you may have lusted after could be sold out by now (it’s happened too many items, but that’s always the case with this sale!), Nordstrom still wants to make it up to you.
Nordstrom wants to give you 10 points per dollar on Nordstrom purchases made with your Nordstrom debit or credit card between Wednesday, July 12 and today, Friday, July 14th. Nordstrom says if you’ve already made a purchase, they will take care of this for you retroactively, and if you scheduled one of these days to be a triple points day, they’ll also credit that back to your account to use. So there’s an upside to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale downtime yesterday. For every dollar spent in these couple days, you earn 10 points. You’ll be earning points 5x faster than usual, so this is definitely a perk! You now only have to spend $200 to earn 2,000 points to earn your $20 note. We’ll take it!
