I most recently have fallen in love with a specific YSL bag. Remember when I covered the YSL Volcano Tote? I ended up seeing it in Saks last week in pewter and I fell in love again. PEWTER! You know, that beautiful shimmery gray color that I obsess over. In fact, pewter is one of our colors for our wedding (though finding pewter bridesmaid dresses has proven to be much more difficult than anticipated). So now I have this huge crush on YSL and continue to seek out their bags. Simplicity is what reigns me in.

There are a few reasons why I love this bag. First of all, the shopper shape is large but not gargantuan. The other perk about the shape is that it should fit nicely under your arm without the sides being too large and protruding in front or behind you. Love YSL, however this shape – notsomuch.
I’m considering it; not for purchasing or anything, just for evaluation purposes. I like the ‘Y’ stitching that gives a somewhat subtle shout-out to YSL. But, the practical side of me keeps asking….”Does it open up any larger than that little bit at the top?” I mean I could lose lots of stuff in a knapsack that would open up flat. With that shape, I could send my keys through a black hole in space and have about the same odds of finding them again. Aesthetically, it’s quite cool, but I’m not convinced that I could live with it.
Love the slouchy shape and the 2 handle options
