Even though the fashion world has already set its collective sights on the clothes of Fall 2011, I just can’t get past spring. Suno Spring 2011, to be exact. Now that temperatures are cresting into the 80s, the brand’s collection of lightweight, boldly patterned dresses and separates seems more relevant and necessary than ever.

I’m a year-round fan of colorful prints, but spring and summer make me crave brights (and lots of them) even more. Suno is a relatively new brand, but the company has made such a big impression with its splashy prints and brilliant Loeffler Randall shoe collaborations that it’s only a matter of time before everyone’s sporting some Suno. That’s why it’s important to get in the game now and make all of your friends wonder who made that brilliant maxi dress or light-as-a-feather prairie skirt that you’re wearing. Or, better yet, don’t buy any of it. More for me.

Purchase Suno via Saks.

*deep sigh* at your 80 degree weather. It’s 100 degrees in East Texas… It’s barely June :(. Those prints are lovely but they’d have to wait until October. It’s hard to make even that look good when you’re wiping the lovely mixture of sweat and oil from your brow and constantly peeling your clothes from your skin :(

I lived in Atlanta and similar climates for 25 years, so I feel your pain all too well. I remember that trying to look cute while walking around my college campus in the 100-degree, 100% humidity August weather in Georgia was particularly bad.
