Valentino MOC Clutch

Personalization is huge in the handbag world right now and I am thrilled about it. We all have our own personal tastes when it comes to the bags we carry, and we also have our own initials to mark them with. A couple of brands have offered personalization services on some of their bags and accessories for several seasons, and now Valentino is getting in on the game with their highly coveted and super sleek Valentino MOC Clutch.

The MOC, which stands for My Own Code, clutch has graced the hands of fashion’s elite recently and I was so excited when Valentino sent me my very own clutch with my very own code. The clutch is different from the Rockstud bags that we’ve become accustomed to, and that’s a good thing. The clutch is elegant and has an interesting feature: a front handle that you can slide your hand into, literally to clutch the bag.

The clutch is designed for personalization, which can be done at select Valentino boutiques around the world. I love the calf leather; it’s both supple and sturdy, and the design, along with my initials, has made this piece a new favorite. I have the red version, but Valentino offers blue and ivory as well. Buy and personalize your Valentino My Own Code Clutch via Valentino for $1,945.

I am not a lover of clutches but this one is pretty great….makes me want to reconsider what I carry around every day…at least sometimes so I can get one of these!

I love clutches, but I rarely carry them myself – but this one is amazing!!

What a gorgeous bag! The leather looks yummy. I love how the monogram takes the place of a visible Valentino logo, so it truly feels like your own. I’m curious why you did the periods after each initial…haven’t seen that before as most monograms are without the periods. Your wedding set is perfectly elegant. I figured you were a classic solitaire and eternity band kinda girl, despite your more adventurous bag tastes!! How would you describe your nails and how did you decide on those colours? It’s not quite an ombre finish…

      The leather is really yummy!

I wanted something different when it came to my initials, I liked the idea of adding a period after each initial – it’s unexpected and I like the dimensionality it adds!

You are completely right, I am a classic solitaire girl! I love a single stone standing out.

As for the nails, I had just got a bunch of new Chanel polishes and they were all differing hues of red/pink, so I tried a different color on each nail. Nothing too special, but I liked how it turned out!

Beautiful! I love that rich almost burgundy red and the addition of the strap is genius.

I actually do wear day clutches – it immediately amps up an outfit. Thx to Purseblog I scooped yet more quilted Marc Jacobs from the outnet (before they go extinct).
Now, Mr. Valentino , that clutch is just perfection, sadly my ego exceeds my handbag budget … Very happy for you, Megs, and BTW – love the manicure with teh different shades.

So happy you got more of the MJ bags you love! This clutch is stunning and a little pricey – def would say to watch to see if it ever gets marked down or save for it :)

It really looks beautiful! I prefer this red colour
rather than others. Front handle is comfortable to hang the clutch
    purse. I like supple leather.
