Studded Handbags

One of the major fall trends in handbags is studs. Studs continue to be a handbag trend that designers and buyers alike adore. Something about adding studs brings and edginess that we all crave. Sure, we may have a day job that is a bit dull at times, but show up to work with a studded bag and you bring a little rocker to your outfit. Saks is carrying an amazing array of studded handbags for fall, including: Anya Hindmarch, Be&D, Marc Jacobs, Christian Louboutin, Prada, and Salvatore Ferragamo. Which studded bag are you planning to rock for fall?

I have always adored studs as they are classic and rocker chic! I had no doubts three or so years ago when I bought Be & D’s Crawford hobo with their classic studded strap that it would ever go out of style. In fact, I loved the bag so much I bought two!

Definitely not my cup of tea – too worried about them shredding my jackets :S Plus when I buy a bag I want to feel the soft slouchy leather and not studds ;)

Oh noooo! This Fall will have Mischa Bartons all over the town :(

Making this “studded bag” a trend will be so annoying imo. Just picture it.

Some of the studded bags I’m seeing are gorgeous. Others… not so much.

Some just look tacky or uninteresting to separate them from ones that could have been made by highstreet names (ie. Topshop, H&M…)

Not sure how I feel about studs. Not a fan of them on a whole but on some things they work. The purple bag up there looks good to me.

luv the styling of Thomas Wylde’s use of studs. Though, she hasn’t done too much lately. Saw a Coach in the window, they have a nice studded bag .. $798 .. not a fan but do like the style, would have bought it on the spot.

I’ve never cared much for studded handbags, until I spotted a leather bag by purse designer, Betsy Johnson, that I found on Ebay. I was lucky to get this leather(brand new) $200 bag, for $46! The style of purse looks great with studs.
