Um, I’d rather not. Even if I had the $$$ to. I don’t want to spend $1,780 on something that will get shoved, pushed, kicked, thrown, etc.

I’m with you about the snappy feeling that nice, quality, matching luggage can give the weary traveler, but:

a. if you think others are paying THAT much attention to the bags you’re toting through the ‘port (or are one of the gawkers of whom you speak), then you’ve got bigger problems than luggage

and

b. Louis Vuitton… hip?! Child, please.

that price is rediculous…maybe a thousand! i will settle for it, but anything else is just not smart for luggage,everyone knows luggage are tossed around.

Hey! I’m a soon-to-be freshman in need of a new backpack. My dad recently took me to Whole Earth and bought me this hideous backpacking gear thing with hip pads and buckle straps. I came to the travel gear section, hoping to find something big enough for me to fit my books in. I’m looking for something fashionable, but not too steep a price- the LV roller bag would be perfect if my parents would agree to let me buy it. Any ideas?
